Construction of Water Bound Macadam using locally available material (Table 400.13) Providing, laying spreading and compacting local material in block or large discrete particles, such as kankar, Laterite, Dhandla etc. as per Table 400.13 to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening /binding materials to fill-up the interstices of laid material watering and compacting to the required density as per Clause 405.3 and Technical Specification Cluase 408.

WBM Grading 2 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness,hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.
