M 511/ 2022 CIVIL AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS FOR PROVIDING FOOT PATHWAY TO ROADS INSIDE NFC

I. EARTH WORK

Filling available excavated earth ( excluding rock ) within NFC Premises in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc., in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, etc. complete as specified and directed.

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material upto a lead of 2.00 km for Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth.

Cutting carefully tree branches of different sizes leaning over the pathway or building at all heights, cutting the branches into pieces for easy trasportation, conveying and stacking at a place as shown upto a lead of 2.00 km including all tools, tackeles etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Lead Charges including loading, unloading and stacking the disposable excavated rock and or debris by mechanical trasport for lead up to 2 KM.

II. CONCRETE WORK

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using Pazzolona Portland Cement conforming to IS 1489 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coramandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP), river sand and graded stone aggregates of 6 mm maximum size at and at all depths below plinth level including consolidation, finishing, curing, etc., complete but excluding formwork as per specifications and as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

III. FORMWORK

Providing, centring and shuttering using steel shuttering plates wooden planks including strutting and propping etc. and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work as required including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges,nails,bracings,brackets and applying one coat of shuttering oil on all shuttering surfaces coming in contact with concrete for Mud mat Foundations, footings,bases, columns, flooring, bed blocks. etc.,complete as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

IV. BRICK MASONRY

Brick work using clay flyash bricks (non modular) brick of class designation 7.5 as specified for foundation, strom water drains, bunds, walls etc., using cement mortar 1:4 ratio at all height and depths simultaneous pointing with same mortar below and above ground level and ranking out joints above ground level, curing etc. complete as per specification and as directed. Note: Manufactured sand shall be used conforming to relevant IS code.

V. PAVEMENT (FOOT PATHWAY)

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge not less than 60 mm thick cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern. Cement Concrete paver blocks of Classic, Dura crete/Euro or approved equivalent make in footpath, drive ways, parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Manufactured sand shall be used conforming to relevant IS code.

Painting the surface of the Cement concrete Kerb stones and dividing strips with 3 (three) coats of suitable road marking paint of superior make as per relevant IS code of Asian/Berger/ Nerolac make or approved equivalent of required shade in suitable strips/bands over a coat of cement primer or suitable primer as recommended by the manufacturer of specified make above , cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete, providing necessary barricades, caution boards, removing the barricades and caution boards after painting, clearing the roads for traffic etc., complete as directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3, including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm),including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per directionof Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment).(Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).

Providing and laying non-pressure NP2 class (light duty) 150 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints, making necessary mouth for entry of rain water into pipe etc. complete and as directed.

Providing and fixing to the inlet mouth of rain water pipe with Cast Iron grating 150mm diameter or 150 mm Square weighing not less than 440 grams including makinng good with the cement mortar as required complete as per specifications and as directed by Enginner- In- Charge.

VI. FINISHING

Cement plastering 15 mm thick for walls in cement mortar 1:4 ratio fininshed smooth at all height above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surface including making necessary grooves in between junctions or brick masonary and RCC and also other places wherever required over brick walls or concrete surface preparation of surface, steel/tubular scaffolding curing etc., complete as directed. Note: River sand shall be used conforming to relevant IS code.

VII.DEMOLISHING & DISMANTLING WORKS

Demolishing Plain cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 2 Kms lead, cleaning etc., complete and as directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Demolishing R.C.C. work by mechanical means and stockpiling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 2 kms, stacking serviceable and unserviceable material separately including cutting reinforcement bars complete and as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means existing Brick masonry in cement motor with plastering on both sides very carefully at depths/heights above/below plinth level including erection of suitable scaffolding, stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within the lead of 2 Kms etc., complete as specified and directed.

Dismantling Stone slab flooring of all kinds laid in cement mortar etc. including removal of bedding mortar,including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 2 Kms lead etc., complete as specified and directed.

Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface, pointing as required complete as specified and directed.

Cutting road and making good the same including supply of extra quantities of materials i.e. Coarse and fine aggregate, moorum screening, red bajri, labour required, disposal of unserviceable material within 2 Kms lead etc., complete as specified and directed for bituminous and Cement Concrete road portions.
