Removal and application of thermal insulation in exchangers for ISI work in main plant, HWP, Tuticorin
Removal, supply and application of inhibited lightly resin bonded machine-laid rock wool (loose wool) having density 128 kg/m³, fully and tightly packed in the 12-E2,12E3,14E1 heat exchanger area, complete in all respects. The material shall conform to IS: 8183. The job shall include removal of existing insulation , cleaning of the surface, and application of two coats of approved painting before insulation. The work shall further include aluminium sheet cladding, fixed and finished properly with all necessary accessories, fasteners, overlaps, sealing, and supports, as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting of industrial steel structures of XU, H2S and other area at Heavy Water Plant (Kota)
Providing & applying 1st quality ready mixed synthetic enamel paint in two or more coats with dry film thickness not less than 80 microns of approved make and shade (Asian, Berger, Nerolac, British, Garware paints or equivalent) on Steel structures erected in position consisting of various members like columns, floor beams, cable racks, monorail beams, roof trusses, purlins, equipment supports, ladders, ladder cages, staircases, walkways, pipe supports etc. at all locations and heights (up to 75 meters) to give an even shade including providing and fixing scaffolding, safety belts, safety net, all required PPE's and all necessary arrangements for safe execution of the job as per tender conditions, specifications and as directed by EIC. It also includes surface preparation by cleaning the entire surface, removing rust, oil, grease, dust, deteriorated old paint etc., rubbing surface with wire brushes & emery paper to remove loose scales and deteriorated old paint, wiping surface with with mineral turpentine to remove grease and allowed to dry before painting etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1) The painting work will be done in two successive coats, with the first coat being a slightly lighter shade than the next coat. 2.) Since the painting work is to be carried out in industrial area, all necessary arrangements are required to carry out to protect all equipments, pipelines etc. in the close vicinity of the working area from colour spray/splashes/droplets. Without proper arrangement to prevent above situation, work will not be permitted and delay due to this will be considered completely on behalf of contractor only and accordingly necessary action will be taken as per agreement terms and condition. 3) Painting is to be carried out using painting brush/roller mainly, however based on the site requirement and as directed by EIC, Air less Spray gun is to be used for painting. 4) Minimum paint consumption shall be as per the recommendation of manufacturer for the sprecified thickness.
