111 21.10 Development of tube well in accordance with IS : 2800 (part I) and IS: 11189, to establish maximum rate of usable water yield without sand content (beyond permissible limit), with required capacity air compressor, running the compressor for required time till well is fully developed, measuring yield of well by "V" notch method or any other approved method, measuring static level & draw down etc. by step draw down method, collecting water samples & getting tested in approved laboratory, i/c disinfection of tube well, all complete, including hire & labour charges of air compressor, tools & accessories etc., all as per requirement and direction of Engineer-in-charge. 32.00 Hour 654.00 20928.00

Dismantling/taking down existing submersible pumping set/centrifugal pumping set of 5/7.5/10/12.5 HP capacity carefully and removing from sump/borewell and depositecd to MES Store under AGE E/M Goa complete all as specified and directed. Note - Old removed item shall be deposited in MES store.

Terms & Conditions:- i) The tenderer are advised to visit the site before submitting their rates ii) The RO plants & softening plants shall be operated continuously in 2 shifts and no holiday shall be allowed. iii) The RO plants & softening plants shall be taken back by the department in good and running condition after expiry of the contract period. iv) Recovery of water should be more than 70% of supply water and the same shall be disposed to the flushing tank by the agency by suitable arrangement for which nothing extra will be paid to the agency. v) The contractor shall clean the premises wherein RO plant/Softening plants have been installed. Any challan levied by any civic agency shall be borne by the contractor and no claim shall be entertained by the Department in this regards vi) Work shall be closed as and when the water from DJB is available in adequate amount and for the same no payment/ compensation shall be payable to the agency vii) Payment of consumables shall be done as per consumption. viii) All the RO plant/ Softening plant as mentioned in schedule A shall have to be installed/commissioned within three months. ix) The contractor shall maintain and operate RO/softening plant for 3 years, in case of breakdown during O&M period, the contractor shall carry & potable drinking water through tankers from Delhi Jal Board at his own cost & no extra payment shall be admissible x) The ground water from nearby tubewell will be supplied as raw water to the RO/softening plant.

Drilling of 125mm (4 3/4”) nominal dia vertical borewells anywhere in Tamilnadu in all formations, suitable for down the hole hammer drilling such as medium hard rock to hard rock formation, consolidated formation etc and drilling over burden to a dia not less than 200mm including insertion of 165 mm PVC casing pipe, couplings caps and other relevant materials required upto the depth as directed by the Engineer or his representative including grouting of cement 25kg (minimum) up to the depth of over burden are including borewell development flushing of borewell at a pressure 7kg/cm2 (100 lb per square inch) including yield test, crew charges, cost of consumables, transportation charges of casing pipes and all other materials including assembling complete to the satisfaction of the Engineer and as stipulated in the technical specification. The entire works should be carried out as per IS 2800 Part I & II / 1979. Finished dia of borewells shall not be less than 145mm

Providing and Drilling of 150mm vertical borewell in hard rock including cost of all material charges and labour charges for drilling and erection of casing pipe charges etc. comple.

Drilling & development of borewell of size 300 mm dia by direct rotary method generally in accordance to IS 2800-1979 (revised & amended) in all kind of soil strata including electric logging keeping sufficient space for pea gravel packing including disposal of surplus soil within 100 mtr, well ramming & stabiliszation of materials & transportation of drilling rig & other T &P to site complete all specified & directed upto 12 m depth suitable for PVC pipes of dia as catered in this work, complete all as specified and directed.
