Cable Laying Tenders

Excavation of cable trench and laying of 1.1 KV grade aluminium Armord cable along/across the road includes covering of cable trench with DWC pipe/HDPE. where ever required cable will pass through the road with Suitable Size Reinforced Spun concrete pipe/G. I Pipe. including supply of Al. Lugs, Pvc Tape & Completing of end termination. The price shall include all materials and labor required for doing the work. Contractor shall collect the cable from the store with contractor’s labor, tools & transportation etc. The contractor will have to make the surface as good as before after laying of cables. IR value of the cables is to be tested before and after laying.

Laying through Underground Trech.(a)Laying of one No. cable upto 35 sqmm in underground trench 460 mm wide x 760 mm average depth, with brick protection on the top of the cable with 8 (eight) Nos. bricks per metre, including filling the space between the brick & cable and also the trench with shifted soil, leveling up and restoring surface duly rammed

Laying of S&T Cables of various cores/ pairs/ quads in trenches/ GI pipes/ RCC pipes/ DWC pipes/ Trunking. This also includes laying of cables in track crossings & road crossings. Item includes provision of labels of coloured plastic adhesive tapes or any other identifiable material on each cable to give the cable number at each Gantry Post/hectometre post.(Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway Representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes.
