Excavation of cable trench of appropriate size ( normally 1.2m deep and 0.35m /0.5m wide for single/double run) in all classes of soil including breaking clods, watering, ramming and sectioning of soil bank etc. and back filling the soil after cable laying and consolidating the soil in layers of 75cm (excluding laying of cable).

Routine maintenance of electrical installation of institute & Campus at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur for electrical system maintenance including preventive & Breakdown maintenance of utilities such as (Main substations, switch stations, Pump House, etc.) of 11/0.433 KV indoor substation, Transformers, DG starting batteries, preventive maintenance of panel & associated switch gears. Supply and installation of Maintenance free Earthing: The earth terminal shall consist of 3 separate earth pits for each down conductor,in delta or crowfeet configuration as per site condition. Unit Rate quoted is for one set The earthing will be maintenance free chemical earthing using copper coated steel rods 16 mm dia , 2.4 mtr long and using ground enhancing, artificial soil treatment chemical compound, Terec+ ,having essential chemical ingredients, such as ‘ionic chemicals, dispersion chemicals, expansion chemicals, diffusion chemicals and hygroscopic chemicals, to provide stable low resistance in the earth terminal to make it maintenance free for over 15 years as per IEEE 80-2000 14.5d clause.
