ESTABLISHMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS And COMPUTING (ISC) LAB 2 AT HINDU COLLEGE ON TURNKEY BASIS UNDER QUALITY And COST BASED SELECTION (QCBS) METHODOLOGY
Inter-Building Optical Fiber Backbone (Single-Mode) – Complete with Laying, Termination & Testing: Supply, laying, installation, termination, testing and commissioning of an inter-building optical fiber backbone of approximate route length 200 meters, connecting Building-1 (AI/ML/Blockchain Lab & Orchestration Server) and Building-2 (GPU Compute Server Room), complete in all respects, for high-availability network connectivity. The system shall meet the following minimum requirements (higher specifications acceptable): Fiber Type: 12-core OS2 Single-Mode Optical Fiber Cable, armored, indoor/outdoor rated, suitable for campus inter-building deployment. Installation & Laying: Laying of optical fiber cable along approved routes for an approximate distance of 200 m, through underground duct, tray, conduit, raceway or combination thereof, as required at site, including excavation (if any), backfilling, protection, cable dressing and route safeguarding. Jointing, Splicing & Termination: All necessary jointing, fusion splicing, termination works including supply and installation of optical fiber patch panels (LIU/ODF) at both buildings, pigtails, LC adapters, fiber management accessories, labeling, identification and preparation of as-built drawings. Connectivity Design: The backbone shall support 2 × 10G inter-building links configured as a single LACP bundle, with 2 duplex fiber pairs (4 cores) allocated for active use and the remaining cores reserved for spares and future expansion. Patch Cords: Supply and installation of LC–LC OS2 single-mode duplex patch cords for termination between LIU/ODF and network switches. Testing & Certification: OTDR and power meter testing of all fiber cores, including submission of detailed test reports, loss-budget calculations and final certification. The item shall be complete in all respects, including all materials, labour, tools, testing instruments, documentation and final handover.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m deep for laying of water pipe lines/taking out pipe lines and getting out in soft/loose of soil including forming bottom surface to required level and slope complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Excavation work shall be carried out by hand (manually) and no mechanical excavation equipments (such as mechanical excavator or JCBs) shall be permitted. (ii) During excavation, in the event of any damage to existing water pipes or electric / JFC or OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) cables, the contractor shall be rectified or replaced by at their own expense.

All Complete as per approved drawings & as per Manufacturer's specification and all complete as instructed by the Department Engineer.
