34 The quoted rate shall be inclusive of providing and erecting temporary barricading of height as per above 'Guidelines for Air Pollution mitigation' (but minimum 10 feet height) using structural steel (MS Pipes or angle iron frame work etc.), covered with tin / GI sheets of approved colour & shade, Struts, MS Clamps, Bracing etc. and shall have wicket gate & material gate and including writing and painting of direction & instructions, providing glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape etc. Prior written approval of Engineer-in-Charge of the sketch/ drawing showing details of barricading shall be obtained by the contractor. The barricading shall be provided and retained in position at site continuously during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour, materials, equipments and works required to execute the job such as earth work, concrete, welding etc. After completion of work, Contractor shall remove and take away the barricading at his own cost with the prior approval of Engineer-In-Charge. The entire work shall be executed as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. No work shall be allowed unless the barricading is completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The Contractor shall submit a certificate for completion of barricading along with 1st RA bill after certifying by Engineer-in-Charge for releasing the payment.

Note for Item No 1 to 5 (External Smart Peiodical Services) (Methodology) The work for smart periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include for the same :- 1. All painting, putty, primer, texture coating and waterproofing works shall be executed strictly in accordance with the latest printed technical specifications, application manuals, method statements,LEED and recommendations of the respective manufacturer and as approved by the GE. 2. The complete coating system shall be executed only through the manufacturer's authorized applicator/agency duly trained and certified by the respective manufacturer. 3. The bidder shall mandatorily upload, along with the Technical Bid, a valid and work-specific Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the bidder and directly by the paint manufacturer whose products are proposed to be used in the work. The MoU shall clearly confirm that the specified works shall be executed through the manufacturer's duly trained and authorized applicator using only genuine and original materials supplied/approved by the manufacturer and shall provide technical support, quality monitoring and warranty backing for the complete coating system. The MoU shall clearly indicate the name of the work , name of the bidder, name of the authorized applicator, product system proposed for use and commitment of technical support by the manufacturer.

Painting or varnishing on previously painted old wood or iron work iron work in small areas with two coat of approved superior quality ready mix paint "Luxol" or equivalent brand or varnish including supply of all materials, labour and T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. Paint to be used should conform to the I.S. 103-1950 (OLD CSI No. 13.02+13.03)

M&L for Putty/POP work in multi layer (total thicknes not less than 10mm) as in plaster of Paris (gypsum board) false ceiling of any shape (Square/Circular/Semi circular etc), design and pattern as approved by Engr-in-Charge including required GI frame work and Fibre mesh/ reinforcement (Horizontal & Vertical) fixed properly with walls/ceiling as per manufacturer's instructions, finishing Putty/POP surface even and smooth, painting two or more coat with Premium quality plastic emulsion paint over one coat primer over smooth finish POP surface, making provn for spot lighting/ceiling light as required and all other accessaries/fixture/ material required to complete the job in all respect as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) The work may be exicuted up to a height of 5.00 m above floor level. (ii) light fittings and wiring work shall be measured and paid seperatly.
