8.5:Providing and fixing of direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign with 7 years warranty manufactured as per IRC :67 made of Type IV micro prismatic grade sheeting fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick/ aluminium composit material sheeting 4 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm, with suitable back supporting frame of MS angle 40x40x6 and supported on GI pipe pole 50mm NB confirming to IS 1239 firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete min size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level including painting all exposed surface with 2 coats of epoxy painting over epoxy primer and as per approved drawing and clause 801 including lettering symbols etc.

Painting two or more coats (excluding priming coat) with superior quality ready mixed paint for steel work of approved brand & manufacture in all shades on new work to give an even shade.

Painting 2 (Two) coats with synthetic enamel paint to iron work over a coat of primer of approved colour, shade after sand papering , polishing the surface including cost, conveyance of all materials, all labour, labour CESS T&P , scaffolding etc. required to complete the work in all respect as per drawing and technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

20. Erection and painting with two coats of Golden yellow paint/Silver of single cantilever pole over foundation specification enclosed including the base and painting two coats golden yellow paint with black stripes on base all complete

Note for item No. 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 & 16 :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (i) All painting works shall be got executed through original materials manufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submitt MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicators before execution of work and entire work shall be executed with the approved firm. (ii) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. (iii) Contractor shall give guarantee from OEM of 5 years for effectiveness of painting carried out by them from the certified date of completion of work. (iv) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (v) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (vi) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (vii) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (vii) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.

Manufacturing ,supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory sign boards consisting of 600 mm Dia sign boards and definition plate of Size 600x230mm made up of 3mm thick ACP sheet,rivted with 25x25x3mm angle iron frame, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other color combination including subject matter, message ,symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and welding the same with 3660mm high vertical post of M.S. angles of size 50x50x5 mm welded with hold fast of same size 225 mm long at the bottom end to be embedded in ground with cement concrete 1:2:4 block of size 300 x 300 x 450mm. The plate is to be processed by stove enamel paint of approved brand and painting white and black color alternate bands of 300mm long over one coat of priming coat to vertical post and steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat, complete in all respects and to be entire specification of Engineer—in charge.
