Preparation of Design & drawaing for New Sqm office building & other buildings (Should be as per latest circular). Notes: (i) The contractor will carryout detailed survey and prepare GAD and get it approved from Railway. (ii) The rates are inclusive of visits to site if required. The site of the work falls under the jurisdiction of Dy.CE (Con), TATA. (iii) The above quantities are approximate. The Railway reserves the right to increase/decrease the same. Additional special conditions of contract: i) The Agency will get the design checked from Railway. For this purpose Agency will ensure the presence of his representative in the offices of Railway authorities whenever required. Nothing extra will be payable for theabove and the rate is inclusive of above. ii) After drawing got approved by Railway, the Agency will have to submit three copies of initial design calculations with 3 ferro copies of drawings to Railway for record. Design calculation should be clearly written and bound in book form. iii) On clearance of design criteria from Railway for any modification, agency will carry out detailed design again as required without any loss of time after clearance of design parameters. He will also be prompt in clarifying the observations/doubts of the Railways. No extra payment shall be made for the any alterations. iv) Design and drawing after approval shall be property of S. E. Railway who shall have exclusive right to use or reuse it elsewhere. The consultant shall have no claim whatsoever in this regards. v) Based on the design note approved by Rly, the Agency will prepare final general arrangement drawing. Mode of payment: i) Visit to site and collection of field data from site, and detailed design of and preparation of GAD, submission to Railway 3 sets of GAD (Ferro copy), design calculation 3 booklet = 20%. ii) After acceptance of Railway = 50%. iii) Final submission of drawing approved in item (ii) above in reproducing tracing films 3 copies and soft copy on CD, 3 sets of ferro prints for each drawings, final design calculation booklet.
