Preparation of Design & drawaing for New Sqm office building & other buildings (Should be as per latest circular). Notes: (i) The contractor will carryout detailed survey and prepare GAD and get it approved from Railway. (ii) The rates are inclusive of visits to site if required. The site of the work falls under the jurisdiction of Dy.CE (Con), TATA. (iii) The above quantities are approximate. The Railway reserves the right to increase/decrease the same. Additional special conditions of contract: i) The Agency will get the design checked from Railway. For this purpose Agency will ensure the presence of his representative in the offices of Railway authorities whenever required. Nothing extra will be payable for theabove and the rate is inclusive of above. ii) After drawing got approved by Railway, the Agency will have to submit three copies of initial design calculations with 3 ferro copies of drawings to Railway for record. Design calculation should be clearly written and bound in book form. iii) On clearance of design criteria from Railway for any modification, agency will carry out detailed design again as required without any loss of time after clearance of design parameters. He will also be prompt in clarifying the observations/doubts of the Railways. No extra payment shall be made for the any alterations. iv) Design and drawing after approval shall be property of S. E. Railway who shall have exclusive right to use or reuse it elsewhere. The consultant shall have no claim whatsoever in this regards. v) Based on the design note approved by Rly, the Agency will prepare final general arrangement drawing. Mode of payment: i) Visit to site and collection of field data from site, and detailed design of and preparation of GAD, submission to Railway 3 sets of GAD (Ferro copy), design calculation 3 booklet = 20%. ii) After acceptance of Railway = 50%. iii) Final submission of drawing approved in item (ii) above in reproducing tracing films 3 copies and soft copy on CD, 3 sets of ferro prints for each drawings, final design calculation booklet. Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal, where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage, breakage and making wet connections. [Note : - In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor] Ref:- K.M.D.A. Design, manufacturing, supplying Cubic and fixing in position elastomeric Centimetre b e a r i n g true to line and level conforming to IS:3400, IS:226, BS- 5400 under prestressed concrete girders/ Steel Girders, for Pre-cast as well as cast-in-situ girders as per approved drawing. The rate shall include cost of load test of one no. bearing from Railway approved firms and all fixing materials, equipments, machineries, labour, taxes, loading, unloading, leading, lifting etc. complete. Rates include getting the drawing approved from Railway and cost of inspection during manufacturing from railway approved organization.Note : 1. The rate is for finished item complete and paid only after fixing in position below the girder. 2. The volume shall be as given in the drawing and no deduction shall be made for inserted steel plates etc. ECOR-CONST-HQ-ENGG/ECOR Design, supply, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level POT- PTFE bearing of 250 MT Capacity, consisting of a metal piston supported by a disc or un reinforced elastomer confined within a metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be of cast steel / fabricated structural steel, metal and elastomer elements complete as per IS:2062, IS:1030, AISI:304, AISI:316, IS:6911, BS:3784, IS:3400, IS:226, BS-5400, Bridge Code and as per approved drawing and Technical Specifications. The design of the bearings shall be submitted by the manufacturers / contractor and got approved from Railway before fixing. Test report after inspection of the bearings shall be submitted and got approved before the materials are lifted from the manufacturer premises.
