Carrying out pre-commissioning checks, jumpering, and complete line energization of the newly erected 33 kV overhead line and underground cable system, complete in all respects. The scope of work includes executing heavy-duty jumper connections at terminal poles, double-pole (DP) structures, cut-points, and isolation switches using proper PG clamps, bimetallic connectors, or crimped aluminum lugs as per layout requirements. It includes conducting mandatory pre-energization safety and technical tests—including insulation resistance (Megger) profiling, phase-sequence verification, continuity mapping, and high-voltage (Hipot) testing where applicable. The contractor shall coordinate with the grid substation staff, manage formal permit-to-work (PTW) closures, safely remove temporary lines/earthing sets, and sequentially energize the system under live conditions. The rate is inclusive of specialized testing instruments, safety gear, line-clearance tools, liaison assistance, and highly skilled electrical labor deployed strictly as per standard RESPO/CEA norms, distribution engineering safety manuals, and directions of the Site In-charge.
