PHED O&M BSR 2020/7.1.1 -Maintenance of pipelines irrespective of size & material which includes Repairing of Bursts & leakages pollution control, survey & removal of choking, disconnection of illegal connections, Collection & recording minimum 10 nos. residual chlorine samples during daily supply timings, interconnections and all works related to pipeline network in existing distribution /rising main pipe lines of all sizes by digging out suitable size of pit in soft and loose soil/ hard soil including cutting of Black top, WBM & CC top of road of any size at work site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers. For entire job contractor will use their own T & P. Contractor with his own resources shall arrange de-watering,JCB & Tractor compressor if any and restore any amenity at his own cost damaged while performing the work in this item. The work includes daily patrolling and repair the leakages within stipulated time and complete maintenance of pipe line network of rising and distribution pipeline network within the scope of work for per km pipe line per month. Deployment of skilled /un-skilled man power for operation of pumping machinery etc.including watch & ward of pumping machinery, all civil structures such as pump house , P/well and maintenance of ornametal plants,lawns and flower beds etc.as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge.SCOPE:-CIVIL STRUCTURES:-Pump house 1 No, ,Intake P/Well etc. Pumping Machinery:- Ist stage 2x10=20 HP .Booster Stage = 2 Set of 25 HP=50 HP 2nd Booster stage 2X5 HP, and 2X 1.00 HP,2nd Phase 2x65 III 3er Phase 2X40 HP (one set will act as stand bye) pumping hours 16 hours per day.Man Power to be deployed:-Pump operator 1 No.(For operating the pumping Machinery) Beldar 2 Nos.(For regulating the water supply from storage tanks i/c checking the water abailavility in all taps and to assist filtter for repair and maintance of pipe net work (pipe distribution network 60.00 Kmtrs) Chowkidar 1 No.(For Pump House and Civil Structure etc. Total=4 No

Deployment of skilled/ un-skilled man power for Operation & maintenance of pumping machinery, rising main and distribution network, storage tank etc. including watch & ward of pumping machinery,all civil structures such as pump house, water storage tank, sump wells and maintenance of ornametal plants, lawns and flower beds etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. SCOPE:- Civil Works - 1 No Pump House, 1 No Sump well, 1 No.Slow sand treatment unit (Raw water tank, sedimentation tank, Filter Bed & clean water tank), 3 Nos Main Storage tanks & 3 Nos. Sub Storage tank. Rising main:- 80 mm dia= 1200 Rmts, 50 mm Dia= 820 Rmts, Distribution System:- 64225 Rmt various dia 15 mm to 65 mm dia. Pumping Machinery :-Booster stage 2x3= 6 HP, Main Stages 4x10= 40 HP. Man Power to be Deployed:- (1) Para Fitter = 3 Nos. ( For maintain the Rising main, Gravity main and Distribution System). (2) Assistant Pump Attendant:- 3 Nos (For operating the Pumping Machinery). (3) Helper/ Beldar= 3 Nos. ( For operating the scheme). Total : 9 Nos.

Operation of distribution system of water supply from water storage tanks at various locations,minor repair of rising main,minor repair of pipe line damages in distribution network,including watch & ward of all civil structures as Pump house,water storage tanks under Nand section(whose line plan and technical data sheet is appended)by the Contractor through skilled/unskilled manpower i.e. pump operator , Beldar , Helper etc.Contractor/Firm will ensure running,maintenance and operation of pumping machinery and distribution system contigent to the work and also maintain all necessary records regarding daily water supply to consumers,daily bleaching powder consumption , maintaining log book at pump houses etc . Contractor will also monitor or resolve complaints received through different mode such as CM Sankalap , e Samadhan, Complaint register etc. as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Annual Repair of Rising Main including butt welding and point welding with electric welding after leakage detection where pipe of rising main found broken following diameter without laying / Jointing of extra pipes, including sucessful leakage testing including providing and fixing of necessary fitting such as GI Union, Nipple, Socket, Reducer and Wheel Valve of various Diameter for minor repair of Gravity Main and distribution network complete in all respect in all respect and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
