Note for Ser No 2 to 4 (a) The complete installation with equipments in serviceable condition will be handed over to the contractor for the manning and operation. The conditions as below shall be followed by the contractor while operating the power house/pump house installation (b) The electrician shall be qualified with ITI/ITC from any recognized institute and between 18 years to 60 years of age. (c) The contractor will ensure general cleanliness of the complete installation and their equipements, installation compound and its sorrounding area etc as directed by Engr-in-charge/JE. (d) The duty persons liable for the any kind of checking by the dept on any matter relating to the installation and in case of any incidence the operator will inform imdt to JE/Engr-in-charge/GE. (e) The operator will also ensure the security of the installation for 24 hrs. (f) The contractor will be responsible for any damage to the installations/plant due to the mishandling of the operater, he will make good the same at his risk and cost, Decision regarding responsibility of the fault/damage will be decide by the GE, his decision shall be final and binding. (g) No shift duty person will left the duty place with out reliever if any pers found absent from the duty place while checking by the MES staff at any time the absent will be marked in attendence register and double penalty, should be recovered from the due payment as specified. (h) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of complaint slips, registers maintain the log book for VCB attendence register, break down register, shutt down register for local area, and earth test register. The cost for the stationery shall be quoted included in the quoted rate. and cost of T &P for maint work, area cleaning and maintenance of pump houses, sub stations, tank and including earth pits and pruning of tree branches and minor consumables such as clips, nut and bolts etc for day to day maintenance. (j) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of providing mobile communication system in the complaint cell so that the complaint can be lodged and feed back can be obtained. (k) Stores/fitting/fixtures shall be issued by the Department for replacing unserviceable fittings/fixtures. where required at no extra cost to the Department. The stores to the extent available in the stores shall be issued. (l) The contractor has to supply uniform to their employees for wearing during the working hours summer and winter season. The unit rate is deemed to include for the uniform. The uniform shall be in blue colour pant and shirt. The pattern of the uniform shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge.(m) Technician/employees employed by the contractor will not work contineously for 07 days. The employees worked for six days contineously should be given one day off with payment as per the contract labour act as referred in condition 58 of IAFW-2249.(n) The Contractor is responsible for maintenance of complaint cell the complaints to the individuals under consultation with concerned JE E/M. (o) The contractor is responsible for submitting the doccuments of qualification/experience certificates of technicians to be employed before comencement of work.
