U/W hull and Boot Top area including appendages to be high pressure washed with fresh water (3000 psi) to remove salt, dirt, oil contamination and leached layers of anti-fouling paint. The areas wherein high pressure washing is not feasible due to presence of delicate equipment /dielectric shield to be hose down with low pressure mopping with fresh water should be carried out to remove all the contaminates. Survey of 100% underwater hull and boot top area including 500 mm above Boot top area for structural defect and submit report. Where ultrasound scanning is not feasible the same to be surveyed by ultrasonic thickness gauging. Also ultrasonic thickness gauging (UTG) survey of area graded critical and those considered suspect based on scan survey also to be carried out. Specific attention to be given on plate adjacent to sea chests, wind water (boot top) and astern transom along with propellers and brackets. Scanning reports and UTG reports to be inspected by class surveyor and submitted to ship in triplicate. Contractor to cater for 1500 UTG points . Contractor to undertake renewal of hull plate if thickness reduced more than 20% as per surveyor recommendation. ANCHORED CHAIN CABLE ARRANGEMENT

Anchor chain cable to be ranged on jetty/ dock floor & shot blasted. Survey by class surveyor to be carried out & gauging to be recorded for any wear & tear. If dia of common link is reduced more than 10% of its original dia, same to be replaced with new one. Deck clench also need to inspected by surveyor

Remove and dismantle joining shackles, pins and stopper, anchor shackles, swivel pieces, grease and replace, if defective. All joining shackle pins to be secured with lead pellet as per CGO 06/10.

WATER TIGHT DOORS, HATCHES, SCUTTLES AND ESCAPE PORTS

Carryout 100% visual survey by class surveyor for all W.T. doors, hatches, scuttles and escape ports. (a) WT Doors - 46 nos. (b)WT hatches - 29 nos. (c) Emergency escape hatches - 08 nos. (d) Scuttles - 50 nos.

Check condition of plating in vicinity for any undulation/bulging. Undertake repairs as required.

Renew rubber beading of water tight doors (46 nos.). water tight hatches (29nos.), ventilation flaps (66 nos.) to be carried out. For external EPDM and internal neoprene rubber. Undertake chalk test/hose test on completion and prove. Mat specification to be in compliance with CGHQ Letter FM/0305/CGWO/Gen dated 20 Nov 2012 and 29 Jan 2014. Rubber quality certificate to be produced to ship.

Water tight hatches on weather deck are to be inspected for water tight integrity and proved through hose test.

Rubber packing of scuttles deteriorated. To be renewed and hose tested inway job includes removal and refitment of glass panel. Quantity - 50 Nos

VENTILATION SYSTEM / AIR CONDITIONING

Inspect all ventilation including funnel exhaust and AC trunking. Clean ventilation and AC trunking by blowing through with compressed air Total Length - 250mtrs. In-way job include removal and re-fitment of ceiling panelling as applicable.

Overhaul AC diffusers and cabin units (Quantity - 248 nos. make- M/s Henin and Hopeman).

Mushroom hoods (Qty- 06 nos.) to be dismantled & overhauled, recirculation flaps (Qty- 66 nos.). and damper closing mechanism (Qty-28 nos.) in the ventilation system to be overhauled and refitted. Scope of work incudes marking of mushroom hood/recirculation flaps/ dampers with identification tallies/operation tallies, renewal of grease nipple and damaged nets.

42 in nos. breather pipe on weather deck to be opened, cleaned, painted and wire mesh (mat - SS) to be renewed with SS nut bolts. Breather flaps to be renewed and to be secured with the breather pipe by SS nut bolts. Gland packing (Mat- Neoprene) to be pasted on the flaps Nut & bolts (Mat-SS) for closing the flaps also to be renewed.

AIR HANDLING UNITS

Water due to condensation gets accumulated in 02 AHU compartment and increases the risk of corrosion. Deck of 02 AHU compartments needs to be surveyed by class surveyor by taking 100 UTG points. Areas below the AHU unit to be specifically surveyed. Complete area to be chipped to bare metal, cleaned and painted with full paint scheme (Akzonobel Paints Scheme). Base mounting of plant to be also surveyed

SCUPPER AND DRAINS

Remove all drain pipes, chemically clean and refit. Length 250mtrs, dia- 60mm/80 mm. Full scheme painting with colour coding/flow marking to be restored as per CGBR 382. Paint liability - CG supply. Check the hooks for deformation/free rotation, excessive wear or fracture and wire rope assembly for proper functioning.

Visual inspection of crane structure for deformation, excessive wear. corrosion, damage and fracture by fully extending the booms Scope of work includes greasing of extending booms and guides. Recommended grease. Make - BP Castrol Molub -Alloy 908 SF Heavy or equivalent.

Check all hoses/pins fitted in the system and replace if found defective, check pressure settings and seals.

Check all linkages, joints, bearings, oil seals and guides for play and replace if found defective.

Remove wire rope and examine for serviceability, clean corrosion marks if any, grease and fit back. If the rope found frayed/damaged renew.

Load test of the Cranes to be carried out with safe working load 02 Tonnes at 04 Mtrs and 01 Tonne at 09 Mtrs radius Dynamic load 1.25 time SWL.

Open and inspect power pack, overhaul power pack pump. Spare yard supply

Replace return filters, pressure filters and air filters. Qty - 02 Nos each. Mat Contractor supply

Replace the hydraulic oil as recommended. Power pack oil make - Shell Tellus S2VA 46 or equivalent. Qty. - 500 Ltrs each, Gear box oil make -Omala S4 GX 220. Qty. - 03 Ltrs each. Material Contractor supply.

Check and replace (if necessary)- bolted connection, hydraulic oil, change the winch oil, brake functionality, outside of the electrical cabinet, operator console.

Measure and readjust pre fill pressure of accumulator's cylinders. Total qty. 04 : Nos. Accumulator charging adaptor and all spares and consumables Contractor supply. Pre fill pressure of accumulator cylinder; - 90 bar

Check the structural parts of davit and tightness of all fasteners. Renew fasteners, if excessively corroded as per surveyorjeconi^endatiqns.

Check pressure and functioning of hydraulic dampers for shock absorber. Recharge damper if necessary. Qty. 03 nos. each.

Manual operating levers hydraulic manifold to be overhauled and refitted.

Port boat davit hoisting speed in automatic speed reduction phase while hoisting (3-4 mtrs below AP Docking head) observed to be dead slow. This lead to extend recovery time of the boat in hanging position To be investigated and rectified.

Limit switches setting observed to be differed in both davits view varying loading condition. The limit switches settings to be tuned with average loading condition.

Under water tanks and frames name tallies on weather deck to be renewed and fitted. Inway job includes removal & refitment of MFMB (Mineral Fiber Marine Board) lagging, renewal of doubler plate and threading. Qty-124 Nos.

06 in nos. racks, having 03 shelves each for storing electrical/electronic spare boxes to be fabricated and installed (04 in nos. for Electrical store 02 in nos. for Electronic store), per se CGHQ approved A's & A's PIN E/OH-06/2019-B/054. The scope of work is as follows:- (a) The racks as per specifications to be fabricated and fitted in electrical store (Stbd) and Electronic store (Port). (b) Other inway jobs include removal/refitment of lagging. (c) The Electrical store (Stbd) and Electronic store (Pot) are located between frame stn 32 to 42 on platform deck. Fuel tank (P) of capacity 22.3 Ton sand fuel oil tank (S) of capacity 22.24 Tons are located beneath of the Electronic store and Electrical store respectively. These fuel tank need to be emptied, cleaned and ventilated and made gas free prior to any welding jobs.
