Consultancy for Air Conditioning for Construction of Auditorium cum Lecture hall with seating capacity of 275 personnel at CG DHQ-1 , Porbandar (Spl Wk) under GE (I) CG Porbandar

1. Consultancy Service for Central AC Plant for Auditorium and plant room as per BPs (A) Preparation and submission of line plan/related drawings in r/o Electrification arrangement for the following buildings as per BP's and AE's (MES pattern). (i) Provision of curtain arrangement and stage lighting of auditorium. (ii) Plant room for central Air Conditioning plant. (B) Preparation and submission of DPR complete for Supply and Installation of central Air-Conditioning plant including plantroom, AHU, water pump set, cooling tower, ducting and electrical connection suitable for 3 phase AC supply, chilled water system of capacity 2x30 TR. (iii) Following parameters are to be considered, while designing of AC plant. Inside design conditions :- (a) Dry bulb design temperature - 24 + 2 °C (b) Relative humidity - 55 + 5 % (c) Dust control requirement - Max 10 microns (d) Noise level - Normal (e) Number of fresh air charges per hour - 12 changes/hour OR 7.5 cfm/persons ( whichever is more) (f) Number of persons (occupancy) - 275 persons. (g) No. of working hours per day - As per programmer schedule, normally 8 hours/ day (iv) Preparation and submission of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) along with rate analysis as per MES pattern for the above (i) and (ii)

V) Submission of following working details/documents. (a) Working out heat load calculations room wise as per drawing of the subject work. (b) Double line duct drawing showing different sizes of ducts and roomwise flow details. (c) Chiller water piping drawing including condenser pipes and fittings. (d) Line plan of plant room/AHU showing various equipments. (e) Bill of qualities (BOQ) and schedule for tender showing description of various items,along with price list, support quotation of reputed manufacturer. 2.(a) SUBMISSION OF INITIAL DOCUMENTS Consultant shall submit the following documents within three weeks from the date of issue of job order:- (i) Initial Design calculation and Shite sheet- 01 Folder (b) SUBMISSION OF FINAL DOCUMENTS Consultant shall submit the following documents within six weeks from the date of issue of job Order duly vetted from designated institute viz IIT/NIT/IIS/Govt Engineering Collage duly signed by authorized signatory on behalf the institute and not from a professor/individual in his personal capacity. (i) Final Design folder incl STAAD file, Auto CAD- 01 Folder & CD Drawings hard copy as well as soft copy in a CD (ii) Original Tracing of all drawings prepared as directed-01 Set (A1 size), 05 Set( A1size) by the client & white sheet (c)The document submitted by the consultant shall be scrutinized by the client and any observations raised and clarifications sought by the client shall be replied/ clarified by the consultant to entire satisfaction of the client within three days of communication from the client. The consultant shall also attend the office of the Chief Engineer (CG) Goa, if so called for personal discussion and clarification without any extra cost to the client

Liability clause for consultant : Liability for the following aspects shall be part of this quotation as per E2 Wks (Design) sub Directorate, Engineer-in-Chief’s Brach Integrated HQ of ministry of Defense (Army), New Delhi letter No: 93348/MISC/Consult/687/E2 Des 3 dated 03 Jul 2011 & A/00157/23-I/Pol/E2W(PPC) dt 02 Jun 2017 a. The overall responsibility of drawings, design and BoQ, Yardstick lies on Consultant and may be called upon for mid term review of design during execution of work due to site requirement without additional cost. b. The consultant alongwith third party vetting also repsonsible for soundness of designs,drawings, adherence to NBC norms, Standing orders and regulations and IS code etc. c. The Third Party vetting are also laible and answerable for any design deficiency detected during desing life of building and may be called upon to address such issue if any. d. Faulty Design: Consultant to be held responsible for any structural failure/ building distress caused due to faulty design. In event of defective design noticed during execution consultant will be charges liquidity damage at the rate 10% of the cost of deviation order necessitated due to revision of drawings. However in case of minus deviation no liquidity damage will be recovered from consultant. e.Delay: Consultant will be held accountable for delays in providing the final design Consultant will be held accountable for delays in providing the final design Consultant will also be held responsible for delays due to inaccurate design and subsequent redesign. Compensation at the rate of Rs 10,000/- per week of delay will be levied on the consultant. Note:- (i) Copy of BPs available with HQ CE (CG) Goa. (ii) Arch drgs shall be provided by the Dept.
