The broad work scope of erection of IBR Valves of 110/8 ATA PRDS (Pressure Reducing and De-superheating System) system shall include, but is not limited to, the followings:
+B191. Work Location: All erection and replacement activities as mentioned below shall be performed at the HBL Sugauli Plant. A1
2. Preliminary Inspection and Assessment: To carry out detailed inspection of the IBR Valves of 110/8 ATA PRDS system to assess the extent of damage, identify the damaged / worn-out parts, and areas requiring repair or replacement.
3. Dismantling and Removal of IBR Valves of 110/8 ATA PRDS System: To dismantle following valves & its accessories including removal of old & damaged parts:
a. Gate Valve, Size-6”, CL-2500, Qty-01
b. Globe Valve, Size-4”, CL-2500, Qty-01
c. Gate Valve, Size-6”, Qty-01
4. Erection, alignment, welding & commissioning: Erection, alignment, welding & Commissioning of following IBR Valves with all required accessories as per drawing. Welding to be carried out by the certified IBR welder using approved welding procedures. To check and tighten all bolts, fasteners, and couplings. Providing and fixing required pipe supports, hangers, and guides to ensure valve and pipe stability shall be in contractor’s scope.
a. Gate Valve, Size-6”, CL-2500, Qty-01
b. Globe Valve, Size-4”, CL-2500, Qty-01
c. Gate Valve, Size-6”, Qty-01
Above Valves shall be provided by HBL.
5. Final Inspection:
a. Perform a final inspection to confirm that the valve is installed correctly and that there are no visible signs of leakage or misalignment.
b. Performing hydrostatic testing of erected valve sections as per IBR standards and in the presence of IBR authority or competent person.
c. Complete liaisoning with the Chief Boiler Inspector and other relevant IBR authorities for approvals and clearances.
