M & L for de-scaling the shells and tube condenser by circulating the RA111 organic compound at the appropriate ratio depend upon the scale deposits till removal of all the scale inside the copper tubes and removal of the both end covers, brushing with nylon brush, removal of all scale and degreasing with caustic soda, flushing out thoroughly, re-fixing the end covers with new gasket packing, nut and bolts and connecting the inlet and out let water connection checking of water leaks, all specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling the cable connections of four pole/ three pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 400 to 1000 Amps ,415 V 50 HZ of L&T Make/C&S/GE/ABB make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance :-

a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution.

b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual

c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the worn-out parts.

d) Check arc chutes for damage and replace damaged parts.

e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oil (SAE-20 or 30) for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces . Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer's instructional manual . Replace if there is excessive wear and tear.

f) Checking / inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required.

g) Replacing the badly worn or burned contacts. Checking control device free for operation.

j) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional

Note : The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts/bolts/washers/ pins etc. Major spares like contacts, shunt trip coil , relays, CTs etc will be measured & paid separately under relevant schedule items
