Following unserviceable parts of existing furniture shall be removed and replaced/repaired carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts including tightening, screwing, welding, glueing, nailing wherever applicable and work will be executed where the furniture exists at Harshil Sukhi, Nilang, Rudrapryag and Gaucher under jurisdiction of GE 871 EWS as directed.

Charpoy OR steel FD/E6/MAP-II/01 FD- 220R (a) Removing old unserviceable plywood of double sleeping bunk/charpoy and S&F new marine plywood of 12 mm thick BWR grade in both frame, ISI marked, Make: Archid ply/ century ply/ Green ply including fixing in position all as shown on drg with suitable size screws & cup washers all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(b) Preparation of old painted outer steel sufaces by scraping with emary paper, cleaning, dusting and applying one or more coat of spray painting of olive green/black shade of approved quality paint

Charpoy GI pipe ( Drg No FD-220) (a) S&F in repairs long rail made of 32 mm dia GI tubing medium grade ISI marked 1.88 metre long, threaded at both ends and fixing to 3 way 32 mm dia GI elbow of charpoy. (Make : Jindal/Ravindra/Tata)

(e) Conversion of 32 mm dia short rail obtained from item No 2.03 above into two numbers legs including fixing to 3 way 32 mm dia at one end threaded and cover the other end with hard rubber/PVC shoes.

(f) S&F in repairs 12 mm BWR phenol bonded commercial plywood of size 2000 mm x 900 mm including providing 50mm wide strip made out of 6mm thick plywood for filling gap between plywood sheet and short rails including replacement of bolts and nuts for fixing of plywood. Frame Shall be painted with two coats of olive green paint. Paint should be of Make Asian/Shalimar/Berger as approved by GE.

Almirah steel large (FD-67/1031) (a) S&F following components of Almirah steel med including dismantling unservicable one all as specified and as directed Lock 7 lever with duplicate keys (Make of Lock- Harison)

(c) 3 way locking device with necessary fittings and painted with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & quality over a coat of primer.

(g) M&L for preparation of old painted inner steel sufaces by scraping with emary paper, cleaning, dusting and making the surfaces smooth by applying putty/red oxide primer wherever required and applying one or more coat of (spray painting) synthetic enamel paint of of approved quality including dents/bends complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Paint shall be of make Asian/Berger/Shalimar and Shade of Colour as per choice of GE.

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable handle & supply and fix 100 mm size new chromium plated steel handle of approved quality of make Godrej all as specified and shown in drawing

(d) Removing the existing unserviceable leg and supply and fix new leg made of 1mm thick CRCA sheet to match the existing duly welded/riveted and painted with one coat of synthetic emamel paint of silver shade of approved quality to match with existing over a coat of primer all as specified and as directed

(e) Removing the existing unserviceable shelves and supply and fix new shelves made of 1mm thick CRCA sheet to match with the existing duly welded/riveted and painted with two coats of synthetic emamel paint of olive green shade of approved quality to match with existing over a coat of primer all as specified and as directed.

(f) Change/repair to the existing unserviceable hinges and supply and fix new hinges match with the existing duly welded/riveted and painted with two coats of synthetic emamel paint of silver shade of approved quality to match with existing over a coat of primer all as specified and as directed.

(d) S&F door shutters made of 1mm thick CRCA sheet including chromium plated steel handle 100mm size, Haps and Staple of approved quality, painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of shae as directed by GE over a coat of primer inside and outside one or more coat of spray painting of Hammertone paint (pattern of hammertone shall be 0.06 gram silicon/kg) shall after preparation of surface complete all as specified and shown on drawing. Note: All steel surface shall be done with spray painting) (Make of Lock- Harison)

(e) Removing the existing worn out side holder with 20mm aluminium conduit pipe of locker bed side steel and S&F new side holder with 20mm alluminium conduit pipe as per existing. Shape and size shown on drawing all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. FD-1029

(f) Preparation of old painted inner steel sufaces by scraping with emary paper, cleaning, dusting and making the surfaces smooth by applying putty/red oxide primer wherever required and applying one or more coat of (spray painting) synthetic enamel paint of of approved quality including dents/bends complete all as specified and as directed. Note Paint shall be of make Asian/Berger/Shalimar and Shade of colour as per choice of GE.

REPAIR TO LOCKER STEEL- SKD-562 (a) Removing the existing unserviceable legs & providing & fixing new legs made out of 1mm thick MS black sheet duly painted with one or more coat of spray painting of Hammertone paint (pattern of hammertone shall be 0.06 gram silicon/kg) shall apply after preparation of surface all as specified and shown on drawing and directed by Engr-in-Charge. SKD-562

(b) Removing the existing unserviceable handle and S&F new handle chromium plated 100mm in Heavy patteren all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. SKD-562

(c) 3 way locking device with necessary fittings and painted with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & quality over a coat of primer.

(d) Removing the existing worn out side holder and hanging conduit pipe of locker steel and S&F of new side holder and hanging conduit pipe as per existing. Shape and size shown on drawing and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. SKD-562

(e) Taking down old unserviceable existing lock of locker steel and S&F new lock 7 lever brass with duplicate key all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. SKD-562

(f) Removing the existing unseviceable hinges and S&F new hinges duly welded as per existing shape and size all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. SKD-562

Bed Hard with Plywoood top (Drg No FD-246/247) (a) S&F in repairs marine ply of 12 mm thick BWR grade, ISI marked of Make: Archid ply/century ply/Green ply with suitable size screws & cup washers all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) S&F in repairs head board of size, shape complete all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All wood incarporated in head board shall be well seasoned hard wood (Teak). Colour/shade of vineer sheet to be incarporated in head board shall be as directed by Engg-in-Charge /GE of Make :Archid ply/ century ply/ green ply . All wood surfaces exposed to view shall be two coat of melamine polished of approved shade by GE.

(c) S&F in repairs foot board of bed hard of existing size, shape all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All wood incarporated in foot board shall be well seasoned hard wood (Teak). Colour/shade of vineer sheet to be incarporated in foot board shall be as directed by Engineer -in-Charge /GE of Make :Archid ply/ century ply/ green ply . All wood surfaces exposed to view shall be two coats of melamine polished of approved shade by GE.

(d) S&F in repairs long rail of bed hard made of teak wood of existing size, shape all as specified and shown on drg. All wood surfaces exposed to view shall be two coats of melamine polished of approved shade by GE.

(e) S&F in repairs support stiffners & short rail of bed hard of size 40mmx 60mm made of hard wood teak of existing size, shape all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(f) S&F in repairs MS bracket of bed hard 150x35x5mm thick Flat iron "L"shape duly treated with black paint of Make: Berger/ Shalimar/ Asian of existing size, shape all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(g) M&L for preparation of old surfaces of bed hard by complete removal of existing treatment using grinding machine including filling of cavities by putty, filler, sealer and applying two coats of melamine polishing to obtain glossy finish all as specified and as directed by Enginner-in-charge.

(c) Removing old unserviceable long rail and S&F new long rail of existing size, shape all as specified and shown on drg .

(d) Conversion of long rail obtained from item No 9.02 above into two numbers short rail after cutting and threading/welding both ends and fixing as per existing members

(e) Conversion of short rail obtained from item No 9.03 above into two numbers legs after cutting and threading/welding both ends and fixing as per existing

(f) Frame shall be two coats of olive green paint. Paint shall be of make Asian/Shalimar/Berger as approved by GE.

(d) Conversion of long rail obtained from item No 10.02 above into two numbers short rail after cutting and threading/welding both ends and fixing as per existing members

(e) Conversion of short rail obtained from item No 10.03 above into two numbers legs after cutting and threading/welding both ends and fixing as per existing

(f) Frame shall be painted with two coats of olive green paint. Paint should be of Make Asian/Shalimar/Berger as approved by GE.

(g) Removing old unserviceable Nylon Shoes and replaced with new to match with existing size, shape all as specified and shown in drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Double Sleeping Bunk Without Head & foot Rest Made of 3.5/3.5 CM & 3.3/3.3 CM MS Squre Pipe alongwith 12 mm plywood on Both Frame FD 07 GE 871 EWS : (a) Removing old unserviceable Plywood of Double Sleeping Bunk/Charpoy and S&F new marine plywood of 12 mm thick BWR grade on both frame, ISI marked, Make: Archid Ply/ Kitply/ Green Ply including fixing in position all as shown on drg with suitable size screws & cup washers all as specified and shown on drg and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) M&L for preparation of old painted steel sufaces by scraping with emary paper, cleaning, dusting and making the surfaces smooth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of olive green shade of approved quality.

REPAIR TO TABLE CENTRE(FD-235, 274): (a) Removing old unserviceable existing top from table and S&F new top of size as per drg. Top shall be 18 mm thick preliminated MDF board BWR exterior grade as approved by GE conforming to IS-12823 Grade-I, type-II duly screwed. Edging all round the top shall be of 4 mm thick teakwood.

(b) Removing of old unserviceable leg and S&F new leg of seasoned shisham/teak wood as per drg including french polishing to repaired portion only to match the existing surfaces of the item.
