Annual Maintenance of lawns and gardens at HWBF, Vadodara for the year 2025-26

Complete maintenance of the entire garden features having as per yard stick in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc. including hoeing,weeding, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mover and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers(whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works as directed by office-in-charge (Cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be provided by the Department & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor.) Lawn Area : 8,506 Sq.M.& 1,631 RM Hedge

Maintenance of the plants, saplings, shrubs etc planted in pots by watering trimming, loosening the earth including weeding, pruning & application of fertilizer, insecticides/pesticides etc as at regular intervals and keeping them in healthy condition throughout the year etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer. (Cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be paid under relevant item)

Maintenance of planted/ Fully Grown trees, flowering trees, palm, teak wood, etc. at site inculidng removing weeds from bottom area, loosening the earth, spreading manure, watering and all allied work to keep them in healthy condition through out the year and applying one coat of geru & white Wash to the stems of trees up to the foot height etc. all complete and as directed. ( 443 No. of fully grown trees)

Pruning, trimming, shaping of trees upto 5m height preferably below girth of 300mm i/c removal of cut materials upto 50mt. lead and as per direction of officer in charge (necessary T&P shall be arranged by the contractor). upto a required height and giving proper shape by taking adequate safety precautions while attending the job disposing the bigger size branches at designated location of HWBFV and disposing leaves, debris etc. outside plant premises at risk and cost of the Contractor etc. complete and as directed.

Supplying and planting ornamental plants/ tree plants/ground cover plants of variety specified by EIC in the flower beds inside the plant premises by watering, llosening of earth and weeding out in old flower beds and developing new flower beds by maintaining for the full period of contract including cost of seeds, sapplings, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and stacking of following healthy, free from disease and well developed winter seasonal seedling/cutting at site of work in per tray and each tray having 100 Nos plants including complete maintenance of these seedling/cutting till plantation in flower bed and flowering of the plants etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and stacking of following healthy, free from disease and well developed Summer & rainy seasonal seedling/cutting at site of work in per tray and each tray having 100 Nos plants including complete maintenance of these seedling/cutting till plantation in flower bed and flowering of the plants etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in charge.

Cutting of wild growth bushes etc. completely from root level by spade as and when required and disposing of all the dry grass and vegetation outside the plant premises and sufficently away from plant at the risk and cost of the contractor including all tools & tackles, safety appliances, Tractor, trailer, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer.

Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 k m lead complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Supplying and stacking at site dump manure from approved source and Screened through sieve of I.S. designation 20 mm , including carriage upto 5 km lead complete (manure measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for payment)

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, machinery including cost of power hydra or crane, necessary arrangements for cutting of branches of trees having girth as specified below including trimming and cutting of branches at all heights, disposing of branches, rubbish, sweeping of leaves etc. complete and transporting to the dumping ground/designated place within/nearby the plant premises up to a lead of 2 km, disposing bigger size branches in plant premises or as directed by the Engineer by deploying required manpower, tools tackles, skilled operators meeting all the safety requirements etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:-1) Girth of the branch shall be measured at the single location of cut from tree. Contractor shall cut the fallen branch into pieces of suitable size for the ease of handling and dispose it as directed by the Engineer. Nothing extra shall be paid on account of cutting single branch into small pieces. Note:2) Electricity will be made available at the nearest point wherever available.Contractor will have to manage extension of connection from that point and nothing extra will be paid on this account. In remote areas where electricity is not possible to be provided, contractor shall arrange for petrol operated chain saw machine for trimmimg of the branches without any extra cost.
