M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.2 - 0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after preparing and cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (average 75mm consolidated thickness) using 4% binder paving bitumen content VG-30 by weight of total mix, laid by mechanical paver and hot mix plant, levelled rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller to a uniform gradient and camber smooth surface including cleaning existing road top, mud etc as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content VG-30 by weight of total mix, laid by mechanical paver and hot mix plant, levelled rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller to a uniform gradient and camber smooth surface as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal).

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc10 cm wide on road pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS3262-1989 with sepcial applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs cat eye retro reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacture's instructions. Make:- Dark Eye, 3M, Tata BP, Road Star, Oscar.

S & F in repairs solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark Eye, 3M, Tata BP, Road Star, Oscar.

S & F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in and including PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed. Demolition concrete unreinforced in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level).

M & L for 75mm thick cement concrete type C2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base under interlocking tiles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M & L for 60 mm thick (M-35 mix) with grey cement and pigment, glossy rubber mould interlocking tiles (paver blocks red & yellow colour topping) conforming to IS-15658-2006 laid dry over sand bed. Size & pattern of tiles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Sand cushion will be measured and paid separately.

M & L for sand cushion filling under paver blocks including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

M & L for preparation of concrete surfaces of kerb stones and applying two coats of cement based paints over a coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road, pavements and the like exc 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow in adequate number of coats.
