The Propeller shaft including CPP system is to be withdrawn,kept on the dock blocks,dismantled, cleaned, serviced and offered to Surveyor, MMD for inspection. As per the recommendations of the Surveyor propeller shaft & push pull rod is to be serviced, record all bush readings and assemble. The propeller blades DP test and shaft MPI test is to be carried out. Poker gauge readings are to be taken before dismantling & after assembling of the propeller shaft. All shaft seals including push pull rod are to be renewed. The shaft is to be assembled onboard, after fitment, dock trials are to be carried out (Shaft seals are to be imported by the Shipyard).All consumables like ,grease, varnish, sealant putty, tallow, adaptors, ss rope cutters ,wrapping sheets, copper washers and ss lashing wires, polishing emery rolls ,ss fasteners, DP test kits, procurement, supply and fitment in contractor scope. all machining works, hydraulic power packs, hydraulic jacks, pullers,Certified chain pulleys, required staging, welding and gas cutting works are in contractor scope
