M&L for special treatment of sunken portion of WCs and Bath room as per following stages: Stage 1 :- Demolition of WC including lime concrete and cement concrete coba etc and preparing the surfaces of existing sunken portion of WCs or bath etc with wire brush to remove all loose dirt, oil grease etc . Taking down cement plaster of any description and in any position of brick or stone wall/concrete surfaces on walls ,ceiling etc including raking out joints ,hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc & prepared to receive new plaster complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound (Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid separately)

M & L for rendering 5 mm thick in Cement Mortar (1:3) on ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 10 mm thick rendering on surfaces other than fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM (1:6) and finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying putty of 1 mm thickness over Old plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over and including one coat of primer on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying one coat of white wash on ceiling over old decorated surface. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises

Allow to dry for a minimum 2-3 hrs. Apply one part of DAMPGUARD mixed chemical and 2 parts of OPC white cement/Birla Putty and make the Putty, apply Putty on the entire surface area. Allow it to dry for at least 3-4 hours. Apply the Final coat of Dr Fixit Dampguard Classic on the entire surface and allow the surface to air cure 48 Hrs proceeds to paint.

M & L for earthing complete for machinary / Equipment installed at power house / sub station with galavanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cmx 60 cmx 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less then 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less then 1.5m below normal Ground level connected galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, washerws and check nuts all shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part- I connected to main board / disribution board complete .Earthing GI lead and GI protection pipe 15 mm dia light grade upto 7.5 m from earth pit connecting to machinary/ equipment, testing point, all as specified and testing on completion all as per directed.

Note :- (i) The unit rate shall also included for earth work in hard /dense soil , PCC type C-I (1:3:6) chamber , PCC 1:2:4 type B-I cover 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars,150 mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20 mm dia medium graded , GI protection pipe light grade 15 mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to items No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub heading earthing specified on SI page No. 389 of SSR Part - II.

(ii) Earthing lead and GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid separatelly if required under appropriate Schedule.

Note for testing :- (i) Earthing shall be tested as specified in casul 19.137 of SSP PART - I 2009 , to the entire satisfication of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) On teting after complataion of earthing , if the desired earth resistance is not obatined the earthing wiil be re done by the contractor at his on risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engr - in - charge.
