REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT OF FLOAT VALVE, CLEANING OF OH RESERVIOR, UG SUMPS, STATIC WATER TANKS, PRESSURE FILTRATION PLANT, CHLORINE INJECTOR AND ALLIED ITEMS AT AF STATION SURYALANKA

S&F in repairs 20mm dia brass float valve high pressure with polyethelene float, brass rod and fly nut screwed for GI/PVC/PPR pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Complete set of float valve to be replaced, if found unserviceable/ damaged within six months from date of installation.

All as per item No-1 above but of size 25mm dia.

De-watering the existing UG Sump of 50,000 Glns capacity and cleaning the internal surfaces of sump to remove scales, mud and other foreign materials, applying surfaces with mixture of bleaching powder and water, finally washing with fresh water and treating with one coat of white wash to internal wall and bottom surfaces etc complete for one time, writing in capital letter with black paint as "Cleaned on (date) & next due on (date), letter's height not less than 5cm complete all as specified and as directed at Suryalanka Pump House and Bapatla Pump House.

De-watering the existing Static Water Tanks of capacity not more than 10,000 Glns capacity and cleaning the internal surfaces to remove scales, mud and other foreign materials, applying surfaces with mixture of bleaching powder and water, finally washing with fresh water and treating with one coat of white wash to internal wall and bottom surfaces etc complete for one time, writing in capital letter with black paint as "Cleaned on (date) & next due on (date), letter's height not less than 5cm complete all as specified and as directed.

De-watering the existing OH Reservior of capacity 20,000 Glns at 18 mtr staging and cleaning the internal surfaces to remove scales, mud and other foreign materials, applying surfaces with mixture of bleaching powder and water, finally washing with fresh water and treating with one coat of white wash to internal wall and bottom surfaces etc complete for one time, writing in capital letter with black paint as "Cleaned on (date) & next due on (date), letter's height not less than 5cm complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted for item No-3 to 5 shall deemed to be included for the following :- (a) 250 gm of bleaching powder to be used for every 10 litre of fresh water. (b) All the inlet/outlet/over flow wash out connection shall be cleaned as rust free and any leakage in joints shall be made good. (c) The water available in the tank/UG sums/OH Reservior shall be bailed out to the nearest open drain available. (d) Any damage caused during cleaning the existing assets shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost.

M&L for cleaning of Water Pressure Filteration Plant (Dual Media Filter) of size 1400 x 1500mm make of "Thermax" and replacing the media materials, testing the water alongwith chlorine injector system complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Old media material obtained from filter to be kept aside in Pump House).

Removing the complete pebbles, crushed gravel, filter sand, Anthratic and cleaning the filteration plant (Dual Media) Filters and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for scraping/rubbing rusted part of tanks and welded of holes in (Dual Media) Filter body by arc/gas welding and arresting the leaks complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Each welded portion not more than 5cm)

M&L for scraping/rubbing the entire tank for removal of old paint, applying one coat of red oxide paint and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of Navy Blue colour for Dual Media Filter (02 Tank alongwith connected pipe lines) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling pebbles of size 10mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling pebbles of size 12-20mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling pebbles of size 25-40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling filter sand with 16-32mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling Anthracite complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only of Liquid Chlorine Sodium Hypochlorite's (Grade-I) drinking water with 9% chlorine contents by volume conforming to IS-11673 in sealed non-chemical reactioned/oxidation LDPE containers of 60 Kg PVC tanks, as required on monthly basis with manufacturers's chlorine test certificate and manufacturers's date marked not more than 02 week old complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Approval of chemical (Sodium hypochlorite) shall be given after verification of test certificate of chemical of various manufacturers and other factors like chemical and safety and health hazard aspects of usage of chlorination. (ii) The brand/make of the chlorination of chemical must be stated in production and certified by Govt laboratory confirming compliance of specifications suitable for drinking water with a declaration from the laboratory that from the technical strength stability health safety and operation point of view this product is used for drinking water applications for consumption by humans and the brand/make of calcium hypochlorite is suitable for drinking water chlorination.

Supply only bleaching powder the chlorine intent form 35-40% chlorine powder or chromate lime, used for water treatment complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting/removing of hurbs & shrubs upto 25mm dia girth of bushes from ground level and grass in the entire area of Installation/Pump House area (upto 1000 Sqm area) at Suryalanka and Pump House, Bapatla complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- All cutting tools shall be provided by contractor).

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying of water pipes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25cm thick including making mounds of surplus soil on the trenches complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : The back fill shall be neatly rounded/levelled over the trench to a sufficient height to allow for settlement to the required level all as specified in clause 18.56.6(a) of SSR-2009).

S&F 63mm outer dia, ISI marked 3-layer PP-R polypropylene random copolymer pipes SDR 7.4 (PN-16) UV stabilized and anti-microbial welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings laid in trenches/floors or fixed to walls, ceiling etc including taking up/down existing unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No-20 above but of size 32mm outer dia.

S&F of polypropylene random copolymer gate valves (brass inserted) as per requirement of the site for outer dia of pipe of 32mm including taking down existing unserviceable gate valve complete all as specified and as directed. (Make for item No : 20 to 22 : Prince/Sudhakar/Reliance Industries).

M&L for cleaning of Main 150mm dia CI water pipe line by removing the main pipe line from UG Sump at Pump House, Suryalanka, cleaning of internal reddish surface with water and bleaching powder and operating the sluice valves location by location for waste water cleaning. Refixing the pipe line to sump alongwith new gaskets, nuts & bolts and washers etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Length of pipe line not less than 13 Km from Bapatla Pump House to Suryalanka Pump House).

Schedule of Credit (Minus) Rs. 4,764.00 B/F from Ser page No. 24. NOTE: Bidder shall insert credit amount as rate Rs. 4,764.00 in Green field under Col-M. If bidder does not insert the amount the same will be deducted from total amount of Schedule 'A' and accordingly total amount of tender will be considered in deciding the lowest tender.
