Man power :- One semi-skilled (Valveman) per shift of 08 hrs .

Shift timings:- General Shift :- 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs

Notes: (i) The contractor is fully responsible for the smooth and trouble free operation of Pumpsets and timely controlling valves and distribution of water in the areas mentioned above as per pumping of water. The contractor will provide all necessary operating tools for daily maintenance of plants. ii) The operator shall check and monitor the pumping timings of water from Booster Pump House (Main) to INS CIRCARS complex, HQ ENC (V). iii) In case of any abnormal delay in incoming pumping, the operator shall inform the matter to concerned JE or AGE E/M for further directions. (iv) The contractor is responsible for the cleaning of pump house area indoor/outdoor permises. (vi) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the custody of all equipments, plants and other connected items inside the pump house and also responsible for cleaning of outside areas.

(vii) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requisite qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recommended by Engineer-in- charge.

Maintenance of ETS swimming pool of capacity 5.60 lakh gallons, to the desired level of cleanliness by adding the chemicals such as Copper sulphate, Alum, Alum, Soda Ash, De-alkaliser, bromine, sodium hypochloride and ammonia through the respective dozing system with adequate quantity, desired occultation and cleaning of swimming pool side walls, side gutter by pool cleaner and cleaning of bottom including deep , slope surface by under water cleaner and removing sediment particle from bottom by using suction sweeper and top up the water at required intervals of time and without disturbing the swimming pool schedule of operation, quality of water to be checked frequently, complete all as directed.

Notes: (i) Water should be always clear. (ii) T&P such as necessary equipments for under water cleaner, breathing arrangements shall be provided by the contractor. (iii) Chemicals required shall be measured and paid separately.

Maintenance of chloronome plant gravity panel type 0.60 Kgs per hour for chlorinating the water, testing of leakages, rectifying the leakages and attending to minor repairs, with and including replacement of minor spares of chloronome plant for smooth functioning without any breakdown complete at ETS swimming pool, Naval Base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per SL item No.6 above but at BPH pipe line junction

Supply only chlorine gas in 100/900 Kgs cylinders to gravity feed gaseous chloronome plant all as directed. Note :- Testing the cylinder and repairs to outlet valve of cylinders will be the responsibility of the contractors and cost for applying mineral jelly to parts etc, deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the contractor.

M& L for cleaning of swimming pool of capacity 5,60,000 litres by pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom and removing complete silt from the pool and depositing at a distance 1.5KM outside MD land and levelling as directed and cleaning with bleaching powder & tile cleaning acid and wire brushing the pool after scrapping the walls, bottom and alround edges of the pool completely all as directed.

Labour only for cutting Horizontal type pressure filter sheet (8 mm thick MS sheet) for making opening hole of size 60 cm x 60 cm by gas welding for taking out existing filter media complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning of internal walls of filter bed of capacity 45000 Gallons per hour by brushing with nylon brush and cleaning using bleaching powder, washing with fresh water and applying one coat of white wash on external surface complete all as specifed and directed.

Supply and lay filter media sand 14/30 mess sand (fine sand) in layers as required complete all as directed. Note: Contractor shall get the sample approval before commencement of work
