Rudder routines: Rudder is to be removed from its position for withdrawal of propeller shaft for servicing. The rudder is to be cleaned,pressure tested and float coated. Rudder drop, Jumping clearance and bush clearances are to be recorded before and after.All consumables like ,grease, sealant putty, copper washers,dummy plugs are procurement, supply and fitment in contractor scope. all machining works, hydraulic jacks, chain pulleys, required staging, welding and gas cutting works are in contractor scope
Steerin gear routines: Rudder hydraulic Ram (P & S) seals are leaking the same are to be dismantled, serviced, seals are to be renewed and system is to be made operational. Crome plating to be carried out,Seals and consumables are procured and fitment in contractor scope.
