Painting to Steel Furniture

i) Preparation of old surfaces of steel furniture with wire brush, steel scraper, stove and surface rubbed with sand paper to remove small scale and rust so as to obtain a clean surface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of colour and shade as directed complete inside and outside complete all as specified and as directed to the following items

(ii) Work will be executed in BSO's storage accommodation as well as where the furniture exists in different user unit in OTM/Md Accn of Navy at Porbandar & Okha under the jurisdiction of GE (I) Navy Porbandar, The work to be carried out at site without disturbing the users.

Removing the unserviceable caster wheel & Supplying and fixing new caster wheel as per existing complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing unserviceable bottom & Supplying and fixing bottom as per existing complete all as specified and as directed .

Removing unserviceable hydrolic gas pump and S&F new hydraulic gas pump as per drg.

REPAIRS TO CHARPOY FD-220 & FD/MAP-II/01

Taking down existing u/s Ply wood from charpoy GI pipe 32 mm dia and Supplying and fixing in repairs new ply wood BWR grade of size 1980x900mm 12 mm thick of Make Kitply/Centuryply/Archidply alongwith 3 Nos angle iron stiffener of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick 900mm long drilling hole in GI pipe with suitable fixing arrangement and all as directed by Engr-in-charge including 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on angle iron new steel surface all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable GI pipe elbow from GI pipe charpoy and supplying & fixing new GI elbow 32 mm bore, three way, medium grade, approved quality complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable GI check nut from GI charpoy and supplying & fixing new 32 mm GI check nut complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable GI pipe long rail of 32 mm bore GI pipe charpoy and supplying & fixing new long rail using 32 mm bore GI pipe, medium grade, approved quality, of length as per existing long rail with proper threading complete all as specified and as directed . Make : JINDAL / TATA / ASIAN

Taking down the existing short rails and making the existing GI pipe long rails 32 mm bore obtained from Item No.5.04 above into short rail by cutting, threading suitably and fixing with existing old elbow complete all as specified and as directed

Making the existing unserviceable GI pipe short rail 32 mm bore of charpoy obtained from Item No. 5.05 above and converting into legs by cutting, threading suitably and fixing with existing elbow including providing 3 mm thick MS base plate equal to outer dia of the pipe, welded at the bottom of the leg and two Nos clamps made out of 3 mm thick MS black sheet welded to each legs for holding mosquito net frame set frame all as shown in drawing including one coat of black enamel paint to mosquito net frame complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs / strengthening the worn out frame by providing 300 mm long MS clamps made of 3 mm thick MS flat by welding including bending complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to Chair Varandah FD/MAP-II/15

Removing of existing us/broken Seat & Back of chair Varandah. S&F of new PVC ready made seat and back of 4mm thick made out of PVC the including making grooves welding for fixing as required of size shown in drg.

Removing of worn out legs of chair verandah of existing size 19mm MS pipe 18 gauge duly welded as per existing size on drg and directed.

Removing of unserviceable PVC shoe of chair verandah S& F with new PVC shoes as per existing size on drg and as directed.

REPAIRS TO TABLE WITH DRAWER STEEL (900X600X760MM) FD - 1008
