Recaptilization of log boom barrier

Transportation of departmental wooden flume logs 140 Nos. of size 10" x 10" x 10' from Mohura power house stores to Gantamulla Barrage site and transportation of 32 mm steel wire rope of length 450 m from the departmental store near power house to Gantamulla Barrage site

Fabrication of MS trash screen segments of size 10ft x 2ft out of angle Iron 50x50x5mm and flat iron 35x5mm with a gap of 80 mm between the Flat bars. The job includes fabrication of clamping arrangement utilizing ISMC 75 to hold the logs and spacers together in each segment. Quantity of segments to be fabricated = 60 approximately.

Cutting of logs (provided by department)of length 10 ft over a total length of 600 rft approx. by means of sizing, cutting to suitable size, drilling of holes in the wooden logs/ spacers enabling the fixing of bolts

Providing and fixing of 20 mm dia bolts of length 39" (100 No approx) along with MS nuts and washers of size 75 x 75 x 6mm and U-hooks pointed at both ends. The bolts are to be passed through the drilled holes in the wooden logs in order to clamp the logs together and secure the suspended trash screen at position. The bolt should be treaded upto a length of 200mm on one side sides.

Providing and fixing of 20 mm dia eye bolts along with MS nuts and washers of size 75 x 75 x 6mm with a shank dia of 25mm and shank length 16" with eye inner dia 35mm bolted to wooden logs through ISMC 75 MS channel to allow 28mm diasteelwire rope to pass through the eye for suspending of the log boom.

Assembling of log boom segments of length 10 ft over a total length of 600rft approx. by means of clamping to the fabricated trash screens by means of nuts and bolts complete job with providing and fixing of all the accessories required

Launching of the assembled log boom segments at position by way of suspending of the log boom segments by means of fixing of 32 mm diasteel wire ropes (to be provided by store), and fixing to the existing anchor block on upstream side and the dividing pier on the downstream side stretching over a total length of 600rft approximately on the riverside of barrage. The job includes providing and fixing of all the accessories and hiring of boats required for launching of log boom and successful commissioning of the complete job.
