Note 1: (Applicable for all parts/items) : The biidders/contractors are advised to read tender document, all drawings & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

M&L for providing services for maintenance and operation of water supply/pumping installations round the clock for 24 hours in three shifts per day (each shift of 08 hours) including Sunday/Holidays by employing one skilled operator in each shift for pumping of ground water processed through treatment plant,operating air compressor at the time of pumping,back washing of filteration plant after every supply of water,chemical dosing as per requirement and distributing the water through various water mains by controlling supply valves in specified interval and duration time to time fixed by department including operation of stand by DG set and monoblock pumps sets of various HP at Thakurbari Pump House No-1 complete all as specified and directed. Note-No payments to the contractor shall be made unless proof of payment of wages through Aadhaar linked bank account, EPF and ESI statement of individual employee is submitted by the contractor.

Note-No payments to the contractor shall be made unless proof of payment of wages through Aadhaar linked bank account of individual worker is submitted by the contractor.

Notes for Ser item No 1.001 to 1.004 : (a) Contractor shall employ one skilled operator for three shifts per day (each shift of 08 hours) and shift timing shall be as under:- (i) Ist shift- 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs. ii) IInd shift- 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs. iii) IIIrd shift- 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs. (b) Contractor shall ensure suitable reliever and no extra cost shall be paid for the same. (c) Operator shall have sound knowledge of handling of water supply equipments/machinary installed in pump house. (d) Contractor shall ensure that one operator always be present in each shift. In case of absence of any operator penalty Rs 500/- per hour shall be imposed on contractor. (e) Contractor shall ensure that installations are in proper working/functioning and presentable condition. If any item required for proper functioning of installationthe contractor shall inform concern JE/AGE E/M immediately via telephone or in writting. (f) Contractor shall be resposible to communicate the concern JE/AGE E/M regarding any type of breakdown/fault within 10 minutes of incident for smooth functioning of services. (g) Contractor shall be resposible for maintaining the complete surrounding area of installations (i.e. Inside boundary wall) such as upkeep of building,lawn/garden,hard standing/footpath,cutting of vegetation, rermoval of creepers paracites from fencing/building/structure including OH reservoir so as not to allow any growth more than 2'' from GL and no growth on building/structure including necessary T&P all as specified and shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (h) Provision of printed log sheets and filling up of all records in respect of pumps/treatment plant/DG set should be maintained by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.Also maintaining consumption of chemical/FOL and daily testing of residual Chlorine at different locations and cost for the same shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (j) Requirement of chemical/bleaching powder/FOL will be given by the contractor well in advance to Engr-in-charge/JE E/M and filling of FOL and chemical/bleaching powder/Lime for treatment plant/DG set will be carried out by the contractor and no extra cost shall be paid for the same and cost for the same shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (k) The operating staff has to check daily functionality of all Plant/Machinaries,supply valves,main distribution pipe lines with control valve and carry out normal maintenance and cleaning of all equipments/machinaries and arresting leaks from valves/pump glands etc. Any major problem noticed shall be immediately report to concern JE (E/M)/Engr-in-Charge.Chemical/FOL shall be provided by the department. (l) Contractor shall responsible for proper uniform of operating staff duly printed the firm's name on it, gum boots,first aid box, necessary T&P required for daily functionality of all Plant/Machinaries,supply valves,main distribution pipe lines with control valve and cost shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (m) Contractor has to carry out back washing of the system daily once/twice as required to maintain the potability/quality of water. Also shall clean the internal/external surface of sedimentation tank, clear water sump,aeration cascade and drainage system periodically so as to maintain hygene in the filteration/supply system in all respect. (n) Contractor shall ensure that water stagnation is not there within premise of water supply installation. Water from valve pit to be removed and in case of any leakage from valve or pipe within the premise,it shall be rectified by the contractor sponteneously without extra cost for the same. (p) The payments will be made into AADHAAR Linked bank account of the employee by the contractor

Supply and fix tube medium grade galvanised with all fittings laid in trenches or in floor of following sizes :-

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, for foundations etc. or for shafts, well cess pits, manholes, pier holes, laying of pipe and cables etc. but not exceeding 10 sqm on plan including dressing /trimming sides and levelling/grading & ramming bottom of excavation and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in , including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/oose soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the strating point complete all as specified.

M &L for taking out MS column pipes of any dia alongwith submersible pump set & cable of any rating and development of tube well with compressed air up to 500CFM for 36 hours continuosly to remove muddy water and over pumping with 25% extra capacity submersible pump till clear water obtains from borewell and lowering down the existing submersible pump set of any HP including replacement of deteriorated column pipe of any size/bore alonwith gasket, nuts, bolts and washers of any type/size complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Rates included for all types of T&P required for development of bore well at site. (ii) Column pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing MS column pipe 100 mm bore 3 mtr long each fixed heavy grade MS flang both end complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe in position and reducing to required length for repair of blockage or insertion of CI fittings such as collars branches Tees etc for the following sizes complete including necessary earth work all as specified and directed..

S & F Polypropylene Random Copolymer 3(Three) layer (PP-R) Pipes SDR 7.4 & SDR 11 UV stablized green coloured, inner anti microbial, fusion welded, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fitting, laid in trenches for the following sizes of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair PP-R gate valve (brass insert) as per requirement of site and fixed in position including taking down unserviceable gate valves for the following sizes complete all as specified and directed:-

Taking out unserviceable submersible pump set of any capacity from deep bore well carefully alongwith 100 mm/80mm bore 3 mtr long MS/GI column pipes with out damaging submersible cable for repair such as replacement of column pipe, gaskets, nuts bolts and washers, replacement of cable or rewinding of motor etc.complete all as specified.

Transportation of defective pump set with motor to workshop and strip opening of submersible motor of capacity 20 to 25 HP and taking out burnt out windings,Cleaning of motor rotor and stator with cleaning material,Carrying out necessary machining work such as grinding, metaling and polishing . Rewinding of motor with stove enamelled copper wire of existing gauge,replacement of unserviceable parts as required. Assembling of motor and testing complete to the satisfaction of Engineer-in -Charge. Note :- Spare required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item here in after.

Transporting pump set after repair from workshop to site and making all arrangements for re-assembling submersible pump and motor and lowering the same carefully after connecting and jointing the submersible cable of any description, MS chain/SWR and column pipe after cleaning and testing the same complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix submersible PVC insulated flat copper multi stranded cable 1100 Volts grade conforming to IS- 694/1990 of size 16 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of monoblock pump sets any make any type of 15 HP carefully after disconnecting electrical connection and pipes etc and taking out/transporting to workshop for repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Strip opening of induction motor of capacity 15 HP and taking out burnt out windings, cleaning of motor, rotor and stator with cleaning material, rewinding of motor with super enamelled copper wire of existing gauge including replacement of unserviceable parts re-assembling of motor, testing and connecting the motor to its original location complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -Charge. Note : Spare parts required shall be measured and paid separately under respective items here in after.

Supply only ball bearing for induction motor of capacity 15 HP as per existing size complete all as specified and directed. Make NBC/SKF/TATA

Supply only terminal plates for induction of capacity 12.5 to 15 HP as per existing size complete all as specified and directed.
