M & L for maintenance of Diesel engine set in fire fighting pump house at 79 BHP as per the recommendation of manufacturer including replacement of necessary recommended filters, spares including necessary engine oil and rewinding of burnt starter windings, including replacement of old silencer suction bent pipe, head cleaning, tapet setting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for dismantling of motor of 75 HP capacity pumpset from installed position after disconnecting all connections and transporting the motor to work shop, strip opening of motor complete including dismanlting stator, rotor assembly and cleaning the assemblies by taking out perished glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block, and washing with carbon tetra chloride, decarbonising and cleaning the rotor with CTC solution, replacing the glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block, binding the loose coils with binding cloth, varnishing the coils complete and applying bectol on excitor coils, stator coils and heating complete, reassembling the unit, testing with megger for insualtion value and re-assembling, aligning with pump, re-inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the electric cable etc., and check for drawing current testing, commissioning etc complete all as directed.

All as per Sl. Item No.2 above but of cdapcity 3 HP

M & L for dismantling the pump of 3 to 7.5 HP capacity, checking the worn out parts like impeller, shaft, stuffing box, shaft sleeve by using Micrometer and transporting to workshop for repairs, checking the condition of bearings, removing scales from impeller and pump housing, building the worn out metal of transmission shaft to required level, machining to the required size on lathe machine, grinding and finishing to match the sleeve, and fixing into the housing, re-assembling, transport back to the installation, installing in position, check for alignment with dial gauge, inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the flanged pipe connections of suction/ delivery including replacement of rubber insertion etc complete, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply only for following spare parts suitable for 3 to 7.5 HP pump set.

Repairing / Servicing and reassembling the Vacuum pump set and motor of capacity 3 HP or 2.2 KW as per the original assembly after repairs / replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning, replacing the bearings for both pumps & motors including packing bolts, nuts washers and MS clamps etc and applying one coat of approved synthetic enamel paint paint on exposed steel surface, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including machine work etc, refixing and testing & commissioning the both for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Repairing / Servicing and reassembling the Jockey pump set and motor of capacity 5 HP or 3.7 KW as per the original assembly after repairs / replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning, replacing the bearings for both pumps & motors including packing bolts, nuts washers and MS clamps etc and applying one coat of approved synthetic enamel paint paint on exposed steel surface, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including machine work etc, refixing and testing & commissioning the both for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Repairs to automatic control panel of fire fighting system comprising of replacement of pressure switch, arresting leakages in the line etc., for effective functioning of jockey pump to maintain desired pressure level in the system all as directed by Engr in Charge

Supply and filling Aqueous film forming foam liquid concentrate 6% as per IS 4969 in the foam tank complete all as specified and directed. Make: Chemguard/ Firechem/ KV Lite/ Safex / Fire Safety Devices (Pvt) Ltd

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil for foundation, of pipe lines etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soil.

Removing surplus excavated soil n. exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n-exc 1.5 m above the starting point.

Supply and fix MS ERW pipe 150mm dia bore, 5.4 mm thick laid in trenches or on ground/ vertically with welded joints including removing the rusted, broken old MS pipe including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc chrome primer in open places and with bitumen coating/ felt cover in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per SL item No.13 above but of size 100 mm dia 5.4 mm thick

Supply and laying GI pipes medium grade of 40 mm dia with all fittings laid in trenches including taking down old unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of hose boxes of size 1200 x 900 x 600 mm with 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, frame made out of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick MS angle Iron with double door, glazed with 4 mm thick sheet glass and including necessary locking arrragement, preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (fire red outside and brilliant white inside) over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and replacement percolating rubber coating hose pipe 15 metre long hose pipe 80/63 mm dia confirming to IS 636 complete with male and female coupling confirming to IS 903 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replacement of hose reel of 20 mm dia and 30 metre length conforming to IS-5132 including gun metal hose reel cap (shank) 4.6 mm dia nozzle suitable for double hydrant control valve complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type A (Single head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'B' (Double head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replacement of single hydrant stand post made of MS pipe of size 80 mm bore heavy grade, 1.50 m height with 90°, duck foot bend both end flanged and including welding if required to suit single fire hydrant valve and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M & L taking down existing fire fighting pipe line from the existing PCC pillar without any damage, for repair/ construct the new PCC pedastals, after completing PCC work refixing the same fire fighting pipe lines on PCC pedastals complete all as specified directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-(i) Quoted rates are inclusive of cutting/welding of MS pipes, and replacement of nut & bolts, rubber gaskets and necessary accessories complete. (ii) PCC work, excavation, removing of surplus soil shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking down & refixing the old fire hydrant valves of size 80 mm dia from hydrant post and removing the corrosion,changing the damaged pins from pivot end, softening the shaft of iron wheel and applying the greese for lubrication of fire hydrant valves complete all as directed by EIC. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of nut & Bolts, rubber gaskets and other connected items.

Supply and replacement of fire brigade inlet connection 2 way with isolating valve and instataneous gun metal coupling 100/80/63 mm dia including with all accessories complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Fire point comprising of CO2 fire extinguisher 4.5 Kg - 2 Nos, Dry carbon powder (ABC) - 5Kg 2 Nos, ceiling hook, fire beater, sand buckets 9 ltr capacity- 2Nos ,showel complete with angle iron stand duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer including dismantling old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The quoted rate is inclusive of numbering of stand post and hose box with white paint on black circular background of size as directed.

M&L masonary valve chamber of size 750x750x750 mm (internal dimensions) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering internal and external surface 15 mm thick in CM 1:4, 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) coping, 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick MS angle iron, 5 mm thick MS plate cover with locking arrangement, painting exposed steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer including dismantling unserviceable compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of cast iron double flanged sluice valves (raising type) of size 150 mm bore, PN-1.6 conforming to IS -14846 with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply, fixing,testing and commissioning of CI 150 mm bore butterfly valves PN 1.0 including cutting, welding etc, including taking down existing unserviceable complete complete all as directed.

Supply and fix DOL starter suitable for AC 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 Phase motor out put at 3 to 15 HP capacity electric motor, relay rang 9-15 Amps including removing the old unserviceable starter from the panel complete all as directed.

M&L for cleaning of underground fresh water sump of 0.50 Lakhs gallons capacity by pumping out the accumulated water up to the bottom surface and removing the complete silt sediment sludge from the sumps and depositiing and levelling as directed and cleaning with the bleaching powder after scrapping the walls and bottom of the sump completely using wire brush without disturbing the water supply to the area including applying one coat of white wash to entire sump internally and applying one coat of distemper of existing colour externally as well as internally and writing details like Cleaning date / due date/ sump capacity with synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed.

Supply and replace 1000 litres capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene three layer water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position as per site requirement as specified in SSR Part I complete all as directed.
