   Bulk purchase [minimum 80 percent of net procurement quantity] will be made only from those sources who are appearing as Approved Vendors of RDSO as available on UVAM against RDSO Item ID: 3100423 with Sub Item ID: 3100423- 0 0 8 , Wherever, Approving Agency has assessed the capacity cum capability of the firm and has cleared the source as Developmental vendor for placement of developmental order, developmental order up to 20% of NPQ may be placed on such sources subject to their name appearing as Developmental Vendors of RDSO as available on UVAM without any conditional approval. The status of the firm will be reckoned as on the date of tender opening.    In Keeping with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, as amended, it has been found that there is sufficient local capacity and competition in supply of the tendered item of required quality and therefore public procurement of the item is restricted to Class I local suppliers only and the vendors who do not qualify to be Class I local suppliers should not quote in the tender as their offers shall not be considered for any ordering. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class I local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender it does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor.

    Firms are advised to quote as per delivery schedule mentioned in the tender. Offers with large variation from tendered delivery schedule are liable to be ignored.

    Eligible tenderer should procure following items from RDSO approved source only:- i) Brake Beam for freight stock to be procured from approved vendors appearing in RDSO vendor directory ID: 3100442-006. ii) K-type Composition Brake Blocks for freight stock with 1000mm wheel dia to be procured from approved vendors appearing in RDSO vendor directory ID:3100333-003. iii) Constant Contact Side Bearer for CASNUB 22HS Bogies to be procured from approved vendors appearing in RDSO vendor directory ID : 3100354-001. iv) Hot Coiled Helical springs for Freight Stock to be procured from approved vendors appearing in RDSO vendor directory ID : 3100228-001. v) Wedge to be procured from approved vendors appearing in RDSO vendor directory ID : 3100423-003. Eligible bidder should also submit the same to RDSO/TPI agency during Inspection of material and same should be submitted along with supply of material.

    Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Firms, who are eligible for bulk orders, are to quote for a quantity not less than 50% of the tendered quantity. Offers for quantity less than 50% of tendered quantity will be considered unresponsive and the offer will be summarily rejected.
