Excavation for Structures (MoRTH specification: 304) (sl. No. 3.13) Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work. i) Ordinary soil - B) Mechanical Means (Depth upto 3 m)

Sand Filling in Foundation Trenches as per Drawing & Technical Specification (MoRTH specification: 304) (sl. No. 12.3)

M-10 PCC 1:3:6 (M-10) in Foundation (MoRTH specification: 408) (sl. No. 9.1) Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (M 10) nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

PCC M15 Plain/Reinforced cement concrete PCC M15 in sub-structure complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications (MoRTH specification: 1500, 1700 & 2200) (sl. No. 13.5) PCC Grade M15, Height upto 5m Same as Item 12.8 (A) upto 5 m height, except for formwork which shall be 10 per cent instead of 4 per cent of cost of material, labour and machinery. (MoRTH specification: 1500, 1700 & 2100) (sl. No. 12.8 A)

RCC M20 Furnishing and placing Reinforced/Prestressed cement concrete RCC M20 in super structure as per drawing and technical specification (Morth specification: 1500, 1600 & 1700) (Sl.No.14.1) A. RCC Grade M20., case:1 using concrete mixer for formwork and staging: for solid slab super-structure, 20-30 percent.

Reinforcements supplying fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications (MORTH specification: 1600 & 2200) (Sl.No.13.6) Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (M 10) nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

Gravel Shoulders Construction of Shoulders - B. Hard Shoulders Rate as applicable for sub-base and or base may be adopted as per approved design. (MoRTH specification: 408) (sl. No. 4.15) Granular Sub-base Coarse graded (MoRTH specification: 401) (sl. No. 4.2) Construction of Gravel shoulders including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site and spreading in uniform layers by approved means on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density at OMC etc., complete for finished item of work and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
