Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil, for laying of under ground electric cable, pipes etc all as directed and specified. Note:(i) Authorised width & depth shall only be excavated, measured and paid as specified in clause 3.2.3 of SSR part II and 19.74.1 of SSR part I for cable/pipe laying portion. (ii) Serviceable PCC /RCC cable cover obtained during excavation shall be stacked separately carefully without any extra cost to the Deptt.

Taking out old unserviceable LT cable of any size any type from trench/duct/ poles / roof/pipe etc and keeping aside for segregation of serviceability. Serviceable cable will be re-laid at same place or other place as required.

Supply and laying, connecting XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable multi stranded aluminum conductors, 1100V grade, of size 16 Sqmm 4core with proper size of lugs and laid in trenches / ducts / through GI pipe / fixed to poles etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Excavation earthwork, cable covers, sand cushioning and GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Laying only serviceable un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, Type 1, flat, of 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm obtained from trenches, abetting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10 mm over under cable for protection complete all as directed.

Supply and laying GI water tubing of 80 mm bore, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings IS marked and laid in trenches/under roads/in drains with suitable size flat iron/GI clamps, bolts, nuts and washers etc for cable protection, complete all as specified.

M&L for maintenance consisting of normal repair (such as greasing, oiling to all movable parts, checking of electrical panels, pendent etc.) and preventive maintenance (such as replacement of thimbles in electrical panels if required, cleaning of electrical panel by blowing air and applying CTC etc) replacement of minor defective spare parts of electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) crane, floor operated and capacity upto 2 ton(Qty-20 nos crane) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for maintenance cosisting of normal repair (such as greasing, oiling to all movable parts, checking of electrical panels, pendent etc.) and preventive maintenance (such as replacement of thimbles in electrical panels if required, cleaning of electrical panel by blowing air and applying CTC etc) replacement of minor defective spare parts of electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) crane, floor operated and capacity above 2 ton and upto 5 ton(Qty-03 nos crane) complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 48.00 here in before but of capacity above 5 ton and upto 10 ton - 04 No. Note :- For item No. 1 to 3 (i) Maintenance of crane is required to be done once in a year duration cleaning of entire crane with cotton waste, apply oil and grease where ever required, checking of electrical connection in addition in the standard maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer of the crane. (ii) Contractor should obtain signature from user in addition to the signature of JE, Engr-in-charge as a token of maintenance of crane carried out. (iii) Cost of dismantling/ taking down of items and refixing shall be included in the quoted rate. (iv) Spare parts required for replacement shall be paid separately as supply only under appropriate item of Sch A.

M&L for preperation of old painted steel/ CI surface of crane (i.e. Motor panel board, handle cross arms, horizontal arms, grills, MS plates, Ladder etc. complete by scraping old paint, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (MES standard shade such as blue, red, yellow, and black or any other shade as directed by Eng-in-charge) for Electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) crane capacity upto 10 tons complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for full load testing of EOT crane of capacity upto 5 ton by using dead load once in a year, including providing shifting/ transporting the loads from place to place, suitable loading, unloading and lifting arrangement all as specified complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for full load testing of EOT crane of capacity above 5 ton upto 10 ton by using dead load once in a year including providing shifting/ transporting the loads from place to place, suitable loading, unloading and lifting arrangement complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The load required as per standard practice for crane capacity(25% excess load of crane rated capacity) of crane 1 ton and upto 10 Ton are to be arranged by contractor.
