Scope of Work for In – Water Survey of Underwater Hull of INS Tarangini
To mobilise a team of divers consisting of 01 dive supervisor and minimum 03 lead divers and specialized hydraulic and UW NDT equipment.
Cleaning of Hull Structure till Boot Top, Rudders, Propellers, Shaft Spaces, Underwater Openings etc. To enable proper survey through videography.Includes removal of Marine Growth, Barnacles, Flaking Paint etc.
Underwater cleaning of Propellers (01), Propeller Shaft (01) and Rudders (01)
Cleaning of Sea Chests & Sea Tubes by way of Hydrojet Nozzle entering welded gratings. Includes opening of sea chest grating,removal of Marine Growth, Barnacles, Flaking Paint etc.
Survey of Hull Structure till Boot Top, Rudders, Propeller, Shaft Spaces etc, photpgraphy of locations of suspect areas, areas entailing repair, area where dents/pitting/excessive corrosion is observed. Measurement of clearances of Shafts (01), rudders (01) and Propellers (01).
Survey of Sea Chests and Sea Tubes by endoscopic means
Underwater USG measurements of areas during In-Water survey
Submission of above Survey Reports alongwith observations on the condition of Hull/Appendages and clear recommendations including Video and Still Photographs (03 copies each)
