Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 M wide and not exc 1.5 M in depth for pipe line, etc in soft / loose soil getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 Cm thick soft / loose soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (Soils) from site to a distance not exc 50 M away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Taking up 100mm bore GI/ Cast Iron /Ductile Iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot & socket ends and lead/tyton joints including burning out lead joints and recovering lead all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, Laying, jointing, testing and commmisioning of 100mm bore (due to re-routing of pipe line) DI Pipe as per IS 8329, class K-7 with inside cement mortar lining with spigot and socket ends laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: Joints shall be measured and paid separetely.

Supply, installation and testing flanged ends strainer / dirt box 200 mm bore with stainless steel mesh suitable for cold water meter to avoid foreign material entering into meter and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclind/vertical position, complete all as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge. Taking up or down 20mm bore GI tubing and connections from trenches / wall / floor including cleaning for refixing or removal all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface Excavation n.exc 30 cm deep averaging 15 cm deep for cleaning the area by cutting the unwanted bushes/vegitation growth in and around the area of installation/around the valve pit chamber/along the pipe line routes if reqd etc and getting out soft/loose soil, all as specified and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for removing old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth from the existing suction/ delivery pipe line including headers of any size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for painting to existing surcface by using spray gun with one coat of red oxide and two coat of synthetic enamel paints on existing suction/ delivery pipe lines, including Headers of any size using Blue/Red/Black colour of first quality as per site requirement all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for construction of valves pit chamber having dimension 120 cm X 120cm x 120cm (internal height ) using PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation 15 cms thick. brick wall 23 cm thick built in CM (1:4), 10mm thick rendering all around the brick with 1: 6 cement mortor, PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggergate) as in coping for grouting MS frame including 03 mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arragnement, MS frame made out of 40 X 40X 6mm thick angle iron including painting the steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary excavation in any type soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs all as specified and including demolition/ dismantling of exsiting valve chamber as directed by the Engr-in- charge.

M & L for Jointing of HDPE pipe of 110 mm bore duly heated on ends of HDPE pipe in built with socketed end, flanges, incl nut & bolts and washers etc required at site all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthling complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6.00 mm, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip of size 25 x 4 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nut and galvanized iron or steel including earth work in any type of soil, charcoal salt 15 cm around the earth plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part1991,20 mm dia watering pipe medium grade 1.50 mtr long GI protection pipe light grade 40 mm dia from earth pit to main board (NOTE:- maximum length of GI protection pipe with each earth shall not be less than 7.5 mtrs) including necessary pit with cover , including testing on complition.
