SCH 'A' (STEEL FURNITURE)

ALMIRAH LARGE STEEL WITH SHELVES (FD-1031). Overall size shall be 1985mm high, 920mm wide and 485mm deep. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel bases made in U shaped with ends covered. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of the length of 920mm and shall be upto full width of 485mm and shall be 100mm high Top, sides bottom and back of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet . Four shelves equally spaced of 1mm thick mild steel sheet shall be provided to make five compartments. Front shutter shall have two leaves of equal size. One chromium plated steel handle with a locking device shall be provided as shown on drawing. The locking device shall be three way locking device. Front shutter leaves shall have three butt hinges of 75mm fixed to each shutter and shall be side hung. All joints and welding and fixing shall be done in accordance with the standard workmanship. PVC sheet of size equal to size of leg base shall also be fixed under the legs of almirah irrespective of what is shown on drawing. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two two coats of granular silver grey enamel paint over one coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. Rest all as per drawings wherever working of painting shall be feasible. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all as per drawing.

ALMIRAH SMALL STEEL WITH SHELVES (FD-1032). DIMENSION. Overall size shall be 1270mm high, 765mm wide and 440mm deep. DESCRIPTION. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel base welded to bottom of almirah and shall be 100mm high. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick for channel base. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of 765mm length and shall be upto full width of 440mm of almirah. Top, sides, back, bottom and front of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Three shelves equally spaced making four compartments shall be provided and shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Front shutters shall have two leaves. All joints and welding, fixing shall be done according standard workmanship. HANDLE. A steel chromium plated handle 100mm long shall be provided to the shutter. LOCKING DEVICE. The locking device shall be three way brass locking device and shall also be provided with decorative key plate. Make of Lock- Harrision/ Godrej. FINISH. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of green hammer paint over one coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. A mark of MES shall also be provided on left top corner of front shutter of visible colour as directed by GE. Rest all as per drawings

BENCH WORKSHOP (1500 X 900 X 760) MM STEEL (FD-1024). DIMENSION:- Overall size shall be of 1500 x 900 x 760mm. DESCRIPTION:- Four legs shall be of 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Legs shall be 720mm high. Top of legs shall be joined together in long and short sides with 32mm square mild steel tube. Two short stiffeners of 32mm mild square steel tube shall be provided at 100mm from bottom of legs in short sides. A drawers shall be provided at right hand side of the table with three way six levers brass locking arrangement, the drawer and bearer for drawer shall be made of 1mm thick. MS sheet and provided a standard PVC Handle. Hard rubber shoe shall be provided for legs. The top of the table shall be of 40mm thick 1st class hard wood (teak) and shall be given with three coats of approved paint with spary machine on all steel part. Rest all specifications and material as per Drg. FINISH:- Top shall be painted in colour with two coats of oil paint and steel portion shall be painted over one coat of primer on steel frame. All joints/ welding, fixing shall be done in accordance with standard specifications. Rest all as shown on drg.

BLACK BAORD WITH EASLE AND POINTER (FD-1041). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 760mm wide at bottom and 900mm at top. DESCRIPTION: The frame shall be of 32mm x 25mm mild steel rectangular tube of wall thickness 1.6mm.The two slanting long sides shall be of 1830mm joined and welded at 32mm from top with horizontal stiffener of 32mm x 25mm. A stay of 1525mm long shall be hinged to intermediate stiffener at given size of drg from top stiffener. An iron ring shall be provided in the centre bottom stiffener and one at 460mm high for the steel chain. A black board of size given in drg shall be provided with aluminium channel alround of 19mm x 19mm size and 3mm thick. Black board shall be 15mm thick fibre board over which fiber glass of 4mm thick shall be provided as shown on drg. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spary machine pointer size 900mm in length and 25mm in width rest all as per drg.

CHAIR WRITING WITH CUSHIONED SEAT (FD/E6/MAP/12). DIMENSION: The overall size of the chair shall approx be 950mm high, 500mm wide and 350mm on top. DESCRIPTION:. The size/ dimensions of the chair shall meet the overall specification as described.The frame of the chair shall be of MS tubular frame powder coated, cantilever type of size 25mm x 10mm in section. Back form shall be designed with contoured lumber support for extra comfort. 120mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam with PVC lipping alround shall be provided at seat and back. Arm rest shall be of black integral skin poly urethane with 75-85 shore “A” hardness and reinforced with MS insert. It shall be scratch and wheather resistant. Both hand rest section shall have inner and outer dia of 210mm and 230mm respectively and have slope towards front. FINISH: Pretreated with epoxy powder coated oven baked with ivory white colour/ white/ warm grey.

CHAIR CBA SPL WITH HAND REST (FD 120 (M)). Frame/ legs stiffner shall be of 19mm square tube made 1.6mm thick MS sheet. Shape and size shall all be as per Drg. Seat, back and plank frame shall be of Ist class hard wood teak. 12th wooden plank of size 55mm x 20mm with size given in drg dia holes for canning godrej pattern of size and shape all as shown on drg and shall be screwed to MS tube frame. Seat and back shall be woven in Godrej, pattern with 0.40mm thick and 2mm wide half round white plastic cane of superior quality. Hard rubber shoes shall be provided at the bootom of each leg. Flat iron strap shall be provided all as shown on drg. All Steel part shall be painted with approve shade paint by spary machine and all wooden part given two coats of french polish after prepartion of surface for higly glossy finish. Rest all material and specifications are as per Drg.

CHARPOY WITH HARD TOP (FD/MAP-II/01). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. DESCRIPTION: Two long rails and two short rails shall be of 25mm x 65mm x 16 guage MS rectangular pipe. The legs shall be of size 32mm x 32mm x 16 guage welded to long and short rails as shown on drg. Two stiffeners of size 25mm x 25mm x 16 guage shall be provided in equidistant between two opposite long rails. Six number cleat of size 25mm x 60mm x 6mm shall be welded with frame to support ply. Two stiffeners joining legs of size 25mm x 25mm x 16 guage shall be provided at 150mm from ground level.12mm thick commercial plywood exterior grade BWR confirming to IS-303 shall be provided for top as shown on drg with proper nut and bolt. PVC hard rubber shoes shall be fixed at bottom of each legs. All metal work shall be pre-treated with epoxy polyster powder coating black 70 microns by 7 tank process and oven dried with dry fil thickness more than 45 microns, salt spary test to with stand more than 1000 hours, Adhesion as per DIN 52152 standards, pencil scratch hardness more than 2 H. All steel surface will be given painting of black colour. FINISH: All steel surfaces shall be Pre treated with epoxy powder coAted oven baked with black colour.

BED HARD MAP (FD/E6/MAP/08 (R)). Overall size shall be as per drg. All Steel shall be MS Square pipe of 18 Gauge. The head board shall be 800mm high and Foot board shall be 500mm high. The frame of head board and foot board shall be of 38mmx38mm MS square pipe.18mmx18mm MS square pipe shall be provided in the inner of head board frame/foot board frame as shown in drg.18mm thick both side decorative prelaminated particle board of walnut shade with PVC edging shall be screwed to MS strip arc welded to 18mm thick rectangular pipe with standard workmanship both in head board/ foot board..25mm x 65mm rectangular MS pipe shall be used to make the long rails and short rails of bed hard and welding shall be done for fixing long rails to the legsas shown on drg.One stiffener of size 25mm x 25mm shall be welded between the two legs of headboard over 150mm from the ground level. The top of bed hard shall be of 12mm thick BWR ply exterior grade confirming to IS-303 of approved make fixed over the four equidistant stiffener of size 25mm x 25mm SQ MS pipe in line with bottom of 25 x 65mm long rail section. PVC shoes shall be provided to legs of bed. All metal/ iron work shall be treated with synthetic enamel black paint powder coated after doing two coats of metal primer. Rest all as per drg

DESK (FD-1021). All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1270mm long. 530Mm wide and 840mm high. Steel frame shall be of 1270mm x 430mm x 810mm. Legs shall be four in numbers and shall be made in inverted U-shape and shall be made of 25mm dia. Mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm with front height as given in drg and rear height of legs shall be as per drg. Two short stiffeners as per size given in drg joining legs in short side at 100 mm from bottom of legs and sheall be provided of 25mm dia mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness. A long stiffener joining the short stiffeners in the middle shall be provided with 1220mm long and 25mm dia tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Two 1220mm long bearers shall be provided for the support of desk and shall be provided at size given in drg from bottom of legs Desk shall be made of 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board of natural teak veneer shade made as box with front side open and top sloping with PVC edging on front side irrespective of what is shown on drawing. The size of desk shall be 1220mm x 530mm and 170mm high in front and 200mm high at back. The back of desk shall be of 6mm thick MDF board or 6mm thick pre-laminated particle board with teak veneer shade as directed by Engineer-in-charge with PVC edging all-round irrespective of what is shown on drawing . All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces

LOCKER BED SIDE STEEL (FD-1029). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 760mm long, 600mm wide and 1100mm high. DESCRIPTION: The locker shall be made of mild steel sheet 1mm thick.20 mm dia conduit pipe shall be chrome plated with wall thickness of 1.6 mm shall be fixed with side sockets.Two handles chromium plated 100mm long shall be fixed to shutters with necessary riveting . One hasp and staple 75mm long shall also be fixed to shutters with riveting.The left shutters shall be provided with 100mm long tower bolt inside at upper and lower ends also.The locker shall be provided with compartments as shown in drgs made of 1mm MS sheet. FINISH: All steel surface internally and externally, exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of green hammer paint internally and externally after properly smoothened the surface with sand paper and applying putty. A Mark of MES shall also be provided at top left corner of front shutter of visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all specifications are as per drg .

LADDER ALUMINIUM (FD-1025). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be of 2310mm long and 363.5mm wide. DESCRIPTION: The ladder shall be of Aluminium having wall thickness 3.18mm. Each rung shall be of 23mm dia aluminium pipe with wall thickness not less than 2.43mm and shall be eight in nos at equidistant space of 300mm in between as shown in drg.The stringer of ladder shall be 31.75mm wide and 3.18mm thick .Each alumnium pipe rung of 23 mm dia shall be fitted inside the stringer with end bend to shape and each rung on both sides shall be provided with hard rubber cap. Hard rubber caps/shoes shall be fixed at the ends of aluminium rungs and stringers as shown on drawing with screws. Rest all as shown on drawing

RACK PIGEON HOLE (FD-1037). DIMENSION:- Over all size shall be of 1905x610x915mm. DESCRIPTION:-The entire rack shall be made of 1mm mild steel sheet.The sides shall be provided with 40x40x4mm angle iron welded to 1.00mm thick MS sheet.75x75x3mm thick Flat iron cut to shape shall be welded at front corner.All partitions shall also be made of 1mm thick mild steel sheet and welded to each other in continous. All Dimensions, shape and size shall be followed as per drg. All joints, fixing shallbe done in accordance with standard specifications. Rest all as shown on drg. FINISH:-All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left side with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine.Rest all as per drg.

RACK STEEL WITH 6 TIER (FD-1038). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 915mm long, 610mm wide and 1905mm high. DESCRIPTION: The entire rack shall be made of 1mm mild steel sheet.The sides shall be provided with 40 x 40 x 4mm angle iron welded to 1.00mm thick MS sheet.75 x 75 x 3mm thick Flat iron cut to shape shall be welded at front corner.All partitions shall also be made of 1mm thick mild steel sheet and shall be riveted to side of rack. All Dimensions, shape and size shall be followed as per drg. All joints, fixing shallbe done in accordance with standard specifications. Rest all as shown on drg. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all as per drg.

SIDE RACK WITH TRAY STEEL (FD-1023). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 840mm long, 355mm wide and 810mm high. DESCRIPTION: Four mild steel angle iron 40mmx40mmx3mm shall be provided as legs and shall be 810mm high.The middle shelf shall be equally spaced between top and bottom shelves.The thickness of sheet shall be 1mm.Top shelf shall have three compartments or spaces equally spaced with 50mm high partition and back covering with mild steel sheet 1mm thick. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over a coat pf primer after preparation of surfaces. Painting shall be done with spray machine.

TABLE OFFICE CLERK STEEL (FD-1004). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be as per specifications given in Drg. DESCRIPTION: Steel frame shall be of size given in drg .four legs of 25mm mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness shall be provided. Top of legs shall be joined together with 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm in long and short sides. Two short stiffeners of same size shall be provided at 130mm from bottom of legs. One long stiffener shall also be provided to the middle of short stiffeners. Three drawers of equal size shall be provided on the right hand side above the stiffener at 130mm high with overall size of 350mm wide and 430mm high and 410mm deep.The top of table shall be provided with pre-laminated particle exterior grade board of 18/19mm thick with teak veener shade and PVC suitable size edging all alround the table .Hard rubber/PVC toes shall be provided to the legs. Locking device shall be provided to drawers with brass lock six levaer three way locking device with duplicate keys. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all as per drg.

TABLE OFFICE OFFICER STEEL (FD-1003). DIMENSION: Over all size shall be of 1680 x 870 x 780mm. DESCRIPTION: 25 mm MS square tube 1.6 mm thick shall be provide to frame 1 mm thick MS sheet nominal all around for drawer.Top shall be of 18mm thick pre-laminated exterior grade particel board ISI mark (one side decorative finish as approved by GE and 4 mm thick PVC edging all around shall be provided for top.Three drawers shall be provided on right hand sides of table.A cupboard with front openable door shall be provided on the left side of the table.A shelf shall aslo be provided at the middle of cupbaord.All sheet for drawers shelf and cupboard and back covering shall be 1mm thick.Hard rubber shoes shall also be provided to the bottom of legs. Three way locking device brass with duplicate keys six leveers of approved make shall be provided at a place given in Drg. TABLE 900MM x 900MM X 760MM (FD-1009). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 900mlong,900mm wide and 760mm high. DESCRIPTION: Steel frame shall be of 800 mm X800mm X742mm . Four legs shall be of 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Legs shall be joined together with the top rails of 25mm square mild steel tube of thickness 1.6mm. Top of the table shall be of 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board and provided with 4mm teak wood edging all round the top of table. Hard rubber/PVC toes shall be provided to bottom of legs. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE FOR TYPING STEEL (FD-1005). All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 945mm long, 420mm wide and 760mm high. Size of steel frame shall be 925mm long, 400mm wide . Four legs of 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 shall be joined together in short and long sides at top with top rails of 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Two short stiffeners joinging legs in short sides at 100mm from bottom shall be provided with 25mm square mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness. One long stiffener shall be provided in the middle of short stiffeners joining short stiffeners with 25mm square mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness at 100mm from bottom of legs. Two drawers of equal size shall be provided with in 365mmx305mm enclosure and 400mm deep with proper locking device brass three way having duplicate keys six levers of approved make and recessed handle as shown on drawing. Top of table shall be of 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board of teak veneer shade with PVC edging shall be provided in front. 12mmx45mm MDF beading shall be provided on sides and back of top of table with edges rounded. PVC/hard rubber toes shall be provided to the bottom of four legs. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Painting shall be done with spray machine.

TABLE PANTRY STEEL (FD-1020). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 900mm long. 550mm wide and 840mm high. DESCRIPTION: Size of steel frame shall beas per Drg. Legs shall be four in numbers. Legs shall be of 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness. All steel sheet used for drawers and side covering of drawer and for support of drawer shall be of mild steel and 1mm thick. Top of table shall be 25mm thick polished Kotah stone slab in one piece. Legs shall be provided with hard rubber/ PVC toes at bottom. FINISH : All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all as per drg.

TRESTLE STORE ROOM STEEL (FD-1043). DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 2440mm long, 600mm wide a 300mm high. DESCRIPTION : Long angle iron as per qty given in drg 40mm x 40mm x 6mm of mild steel 1980mm long shall be provided 520mm apart at bottom connected with 50mm x 3mm iron bracing, four in numbers, and equally spaced with 50mm x 50mm x 6mm iron.Rest all as per drg. FINISH: All Steel and iron work surfaces shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over one coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of steel surfaces on exposed to view when placed in position.
