Taking out liquid sludge including floating sludge contents from septic tank of any description and in any position and cleaning septic tank up to bottom including walls at any depth from ground level by pumping through sewage disposal pump / honey sucker pump ( as directed by the Engr-in-charge and as on required basis) and removing the liquid sludge outside of the MD land or nearer manhole of civil sewage line in such a manner that there shall be no nuisance and no unhygienic environment complete all as specified and directed. Note: Pump , honey sucker pump and sludge removal van / vehicles shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be governed by the Deptt.

Dewatering complete filter bed of 200 to 300 user capacity of any description and in any position, by pumping through sewage disposal pump/ honey sucker pump (as directed by Engr-in-charge and as on required basis) upto bottom / bed outlet of dewatering at least 10m away (as and when enquired) completed all as specified and directed.

Taking out sedimented sludge left out after taking out and removing liquid sludge/effluent , from septic tank of any description, in any position and of any depth, removing the sludge depositions as directed, cleaning septic tank up to bottom, including walls and removing and disposal of the sedimented/solid sludge at any depth to a distance of n.exc 250 mtr distance and burying in ground complete all as specified and directed. Note: Pump , honey sucker pump and sludge removal van / vehicles shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be governed by the Depth.

Cleaning of existing chocked/ blocked sewage lines of 150mm bore, of any description and in any position by taking out loose sediment sand, girt, ash, sludge water, rags, fibre or vegetation from the sewage line to any depth from GL including removal of sludge/debris outside of MD L and in such a manner that there shall be no nuisance and no unhygienic environment at the place of disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of existing chocked/ blocked sewage lines of 200mm bore, of any description and in any position by taking out loose sediment sand, girt, ash, sludge water, rags, fibre or vegetation from the sewage line to any depth from GL including removal of sludge/debris outside of MD L and in such a manner that there shall be no nuisance and no unhygienic environment at the place of disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Opening and cleaning of blockage of kitchen/bath traps or WC any pattern and in any position by rodding, manually or mechanically upto 1st manholes as on required basis complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of blocked manhole of any description and in any position depth n exc 1.5 m deep mechanically or manually by taking off sludge waste /night soil and silted soil from the existing manhole of any size collecting and removal of sludge in sealed container out of the cantonment area in such a manner that there shall be no nuisance and no unhygienic environment at the places of disposal area complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of blocked manhole of any description and in any position depth exc 1.5 m but n exc 3m deep mechanically or manually by taking off sludge waste /night soil and silted soil from the existing manhole of any size collecting and removal of sludge in sealed container out of the cantonment area in such a manner that there shall be no nuisance and no unhygienic environment at the places of disposal area complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation for laying /taking down sewage / water supply lines , forming bottom surfaces to required slope & gradient and n.exc 10sqm on plan and n 'exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5m wide and exc 1.5 m & n exc 3m in depth for foundation for laying /taking down sewage / water supply lines , forming bottom surfaces to required slope & gradient and n.exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (glazed stone ware, AC or reinforced concrete),200 mm dia pipe of any description and in any position set and jointed in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed to drain pipes in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) including packing under, and haunching against the side of the pipes after they are laid tested for pipes of 200mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F jointing and testing for reinforced concrete drain pipes, 200mm bore, class NP-2, laid and jointed with collar in CM (1:1) completed all as specified and directed.

Demolition of pre-cast concrete block masonry built in cement mortar of any description in any position completed all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar 1:6 complete Type B-1, 1:5:10 (20mm graded aggregate and 12.50 mm in the ratio completed all as specified and directed.

Demolition of RCC manholes covers of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for pre-cast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) for manholes covers including placing in position and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT 10mm dia and over as in reinforcement cut to length bent to shape required including cranking etc and binding with MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as directed.

Returning ,filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick in soil in any depth complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1) smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for 225 mm dia of pipe completed all as specified and directed.

Supply only water proofing compound all as specified and directed completed all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises completed all as specified and directed.

M&L for Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC/HDPE Column pipes, pumping sets of any description and in any position including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit, and also jointing of crack/leaked HDPE pipe with MS sheet jointing clamp,rubber sheet, nut, bolts and washer etc replacement of defective column pipes, and including Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge in bore wells at various locations under GE(A) Bhuj Note: 1 Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. 2. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.Lifting of defective submersible pumping set of any make and capacity from bore well after providing lifting tools , chain pulley etc. as required carefully, by disconnecting/dismentling all electric connections, column pipes, steel ropes/chain and keeping them under safe custody for reuse all complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (i) The cost of transportation of the defective submersible pumping sets( pump or motor ) from site to workshop & back is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Repair of motor and pump measured separately (iii) Refixing of column pipe to be done after proper descaling using steel wire brush.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities pumps & motors :- (a) 30 to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at authorised workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.-

M&L for rewinding of burnt submersible motor 30 to 50 HP, 3 phase ,415 V, 50 Hz of any make with water proof insulated copper conductor of the same specification as per old one after dismantling / cutting out burnt windings from stator assembly, cleaning slots properly complete with insulating slots packing, sleeves, papers & reassembling stator and rotor after replacement of worn out spares/matching works including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of motor external surface and water proof jointing for submersible cable 3 core, with replacement of oil seal, sand guard, bolt gusket, cable packing ring, water seal, bearing bush upper & lower etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair HDPE (High density polyethylene) pipe, PE-63 grade, ISI marked , as per IS 4984, PN 10, size 3 inch, Outer dia 90 mm, 10 kg/cm2, suitable for bore wells complete including providing suitable size MS clamps and SS nipples of flange/threaded type (made of SS-402 material) for connecting with submersible pump set and delivery mains, etc all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor Shall obtain and provide HDPE pipe in one length as required for borewell.

S&F polypropelene rope 32 mm dia, confirming to IS standard, heavy duty grade for securing the submersible pump set alongwith column pipes of borewells all as specified and directed Make : GARWARE or equivalent

S&F in repair adaptor set 90 mm dia for connecting the submersible pump set with the HDPE pipes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning of complete UG sump of capacity 50000L by removing all sludge, mud, sand, green ulgae etc and any other foreign materials from the bottom, side walls and internal surfaces with high pressure pump to the satisfaction of Eng-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. Note :- No T & P will be provided by the Deptt. The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety and security of the labour deployed for this work. The sludge / waste materials shall be thrown away from the pump house / sump premises where directed by the Eng-in-charge but exceeding 250 mtrs and not exceeding 500 Mtrs away with totaly unhygenic conditions without creating any nuisance in the environment.

Taking up/down Old unserviceable steel tubing and connections for pipe Bore of pipe 50 mm complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and laying of galvanised steel water tubing medium grade in trenches / wall /floor with all fittings,connections as required at site of size 40 mm bore complete all as specifed and as directed. :- Make : Tata/Jindal

NOTE APPLICABLE FOR ITEM NO. 57.00 TO 101.00:-

(1) The contractor shall keep all items readily available at site, which is required for urgent repair works of appliances.

(2) In case of absence of manpower without providing suitable replacement an amount of Rs 1000/- per day shall be recovered as liquidated damage per person per day from the bill.

(3) Common miscellaneous material such as screws any type, nails, washers, insulation tapes, clamps, hooks, which are required for the work the cost of which is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(4) All tools &tackles, plants, machineries, equipment and material to carry out the work at site which is to be decided by GE (A) Bhuj shall have to be provided by the contractor at his/ her own cost.

(5) Contractor’s supervisor (electrical engineer) should be available at the site to supervise the works and co-ordinate with the officials.

(6) The electrician on duty round the clock will have to be available at the site service centre created by the contractor & should have mobile phone. In case of absence of electrician, Rs 500/- will be levied as penalty for each instance.

(7) The manpower shall be issued identity card after getting due verification. Uniform should be worn by the manpower having monogram of the firm.

(8) The skilled worker should be facilited with mobile phone to contact on urgent tasks & their numbers should be displayed at various places and forwarded to administration.

(9) The contractor shall ensure safety of his workers and other at site of work and shall be responsible for any consequence arising out of execution of the repair and maintenance works.

(10) The contractor shall ensure that his repair/ maintenance staff is qualified and licensed for their part of work. He shall be responsible for their conduct. The contractor shall be held responsible for any loss or damage to employees’ state insurance corporates property.

(11) All repair and maintenance related complaints shall be attended within two hoursfailing, which a recovery of Rs 500/- per event per hour shall be made from the subsequence payment of the contractor.

(12) It is responsibility of contractor to clean the area after repairwork of appliances. Rates are deemed to be include in his quoted rates of respective items.

(13) The contractor provide test certificate of material to be incorporated in the work.

(14) Any of contractor persons causes damage of equipment or property of Militart station, the contactor will be solely held responsible for the cost of consequences thereof.

(15) In the event of the contract work getting delayed due to reasons attributable to the contractor, the department shall be levying the penalty at the rate of 5% per week to the maximum of 10% of the contract value.

(16) Contractor shall carry out all test. The equipments shall conform to Indian standards.

(17) Work diary & hindrance register of maintained by the contractor. The both shall be deposited to department daily.

NOTE APPLICABLE FOR ALL ITEMS :- If rate quoted for similar/identical items in same part of Sch ‘A’ is at variance, the lowest rate quoted shall only be considered for payment to the contractor.
