COMPLETION OF INCOMPLETE WORK OF REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF EXISTING ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS ETC. IN CERTAIN LOCATION UNDER AGE B/R-I OF GE (ARMY) BHUJ AT MILITARY STATION BHUJ

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exceeding area not exceeding 50mm deep but area not exceeding 400Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Screening road metal, chippings etc on the site or the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials cear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of creen measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to by using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to required camber and gradient (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using Hot Mix Plant & Mechanical Paver with 4% (paving bitumen (VG 30 grade) binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted by using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Soft stones such as lime stones, sand stones, slate stones etc will not be allowed to be incorporaeted in the work.

Ditto all as per serial item Number 03.00 hereinbefore but except stone aggregates (usable aggregates obtained from Item Number 1 to be used) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bituminous primer at the rate of 5Kg per 10Sqm of grade 80/100 (VG-10) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade at the rate of 10Kg per 10sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30mm consolidated/ compacted thickness with 5.5% (paving bitumen VG-30 Grade) binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, spread by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes of any depth, not exceeding 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bituminous primer at the rate of 5Kg/ 10Sqm putting semi dense asphaltic concrete using 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kg/ 10Sqm, blinded with 0.09cum stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and making 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs of solar delineators of size 1000mm x 47mm made of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium body height 145mm, diameter 80mm comprises of 4super LEDs which give 360 degree viewing, solar panel - 2.5V, 120mm (approx) 1.25 V rechargeable battery - 1 Number and mounted on Mild Steel pipe of 50mm duly powder coated anti theft steel net of size 700mm x 50mm x 100mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation for bed block of size 150mm x 150mm x 200mm filling with PCC concrete 1:3:6 Type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and clearing of the area shall be included in the rate quoted.

Supply and fixing in repairs of metal tubular delineator made out of 45mm dia Mild steel pipe of 600mm total height duly powder coated and 100mm dia high quality and durable glass reflector made of top quality weather resistance plastic material (thermoplastic polyster clastomer) 3 bands of green/ red/ yellow reflector of size 25 mm wide strips with metal jalli for reflector protection embeded in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 150mm x 150mm x 300mm. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs raised pavement marker (Cat Eye Road Stud) complying ASTM D-4380 type H specifications, made of high strength engineering plastic body having at least 13635 Kgs load bearing capacity in accordance with ASTM D 4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO.III & size or marker 9 cms x 10 cms x 1.6 cm having shape so that no water penetration or dust accumulation takes place on reflective surface, fitted with electronically welded tough polycarbonate micro prismatic reflective panels having not less than 13 sqcms surface of each side having long distance visibility at night and in wet weather condition. The slope or retro-reflectory surface shall be 35 + 5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a cill not less than value specified in table 1 of MORTH circular dated 11.06.97 respectively. The body of the marker having finger grip for easy and accurate placement and application with adhesive on Asphalt or Cement road complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs solar cat eye aluminium alloy shell (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 60mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 Watt, one Ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600 MA) consisting of six super bright LED with 10,000 mcd to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturers instructions including taking out old cat eyes and removal from site etc all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick spread thickness moorum/ red bajri filling as in berm including rolling etc complete all as specified and as directed.
