Exchange Earthing

Digging of pit upto 12 fts. And jobs of Earthing using four copper plates of size (600x600x5mm) thickness to be buried into ground with 3 qtl. Salt and 3 Qtl. Coal to obtain moist earth, plates are to be kept as per Fig. 1 & looped together by continuous copper strip 25x5 mm for termination on earth collector. Filling of pit with material as per specification and drawing, with extending and termination of earth upto a maximum length of 10 Mtr. from common point at pit to exchange earth collector plate, the material used is copper plate. Rate for Complete job of work for erection /installation of earth per exchange with watering arrangement to the pit as specified in drawing and specification for exchange earth resistance should be less than 0.5 Ohms system, including supply of all Material.

Length of extra Copper strip (beyond 10 Mtr)

Chemical Earthing 3 Mtr. with mixture. Provision of Chemical Earthing using G.I. Pipe, Earth Electrodes, Chemical filling etc as required to give result of earth resistance value less than or equal to 0.5 Ohms and not deteriorates with time, including provision of required material, labour work, Earth Chamber etc as required.
