Resurfacing works on road Bhaironghati-Sonam between Km 12.00 to Km 42.300

Providing & Laying of Bituminous concrete of 30 mm consolidated thick conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision) and using waste plastic in Hot Bituminous mixes (dry process) in wearing courses as per IRC SP 98 2020 (First Revision).

Correction of the profile of existing surface (wherever required) with 75 mm compacted thick Dense Bituminous Macadam as per Clause 505, including removal of all failed material. Trimming of completed excavation to provide firm vertical faces, cleaning of surface, painting of tack coat on the sides and base of excavation as per clause 503, back filling the pot holes/patches with application of bituminous materials, compacting, trimming and finishing the surface to form a smooth continuous surface, all as per clause 3004.2 of MoRT&H Specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision).

Application of Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision), through cleaning of road surface including preheating of emulsion to the specified temp as approved by Engineer.

Edge Line Road Marking (2.5 mm thick) with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface as per Clause 803 of MoRT&H Specification on Road & Bridge works (Fifth Revision)

Berm filling well compacted with earth material of proper specifications

Road delineators (900 mm) (road way indicators, hazard markers object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC:79 and drawings all complete as per clause 806 of MoRTH specification (01 No every 20 mtr on valley side)

Providing and fixing of road studs 100 x 100 mm, die cast in aluminum, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lens reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm up to a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973
