Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504. (Bitumen VG-30 @ 3.3% of the weight of mix has been used for analysis purpose. The choice of bitumen will depend upon the he prevailing site conditions and shall be in accordance with Clause 504 of MORD) with Bitumen VG-30 Recovery against difference of quantities of Bitumen and Aggregates shall be done according to bitumen content & Density found actually in field after execution/ Job Mix Formula/ Estimated which ever is less. (Estimated density 2.20 Tonne/Cum)

(Estimated density 2.29 Tonne/Cum)

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 The finishedsurface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
