M&L for Preparing existing old surface of steel tubular poles of any type 12 Mtr height for painting one coat of aluminium paint on the surface of steel tubular pole and channels/cross arms complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for painting to steel poles of any type and any size including channels/cross arms with two coat of synthetic enamel paint and marking the pole No in 4” dia and substn no. yellow paint circle complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white ,with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clams,bolts and nuts of approved size for LT,20X15cm size.

M&L for painting of panel board any size scraping of old paint externally internally and making it surface for repainting painting of panel with two coats of powder coated paint internally and externally over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed .

M& L for Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth for laying of cables, and getting out in loose/soft soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm etc complete all as specified, and directed by Engr-in Charge.

M&L for Removing excavated material (Soil) n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified, and directed.

M&L for spreading clean dry sand for cable protection/cushioning, in trenches complete all as specified and directed, (only punned down thickness shall be measured and paid).

M&L for Laying un reinforced precast concrete cable covers class LV type-I flat size 250 mm X 150 mm X 40 mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Disconnecting the transformer of capacity 250 to 500 KVA, indoor / outdoor from HT / LT side carefully at site including dismantling carefully and removing primary and secondary terminals, top cover, conservator tank, neutral earth strips and draining out transformer oil to the required level and storing carefully in cleaned containers, cleaning of terminals, inspection of core, supply and replacing the 5 mm thick rubberized cork sheet gasket for tank top cover, replacement of defective bushes, reassembling the dismantled items, reconnecting the HT/LT supply cable ends at the site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. [NOTE: Bushes will be measured and paid separately]

M & L for rewinding of HT / LT transformers, by winding the defective coils with super enamelled copper wire as per IS of same gauge as per existing size together with new insulated material and aluminium bracings before placing into the transformer including assembling the HT/LT coil with new insulation between core and LT coil and fitting the coil in the chamber, testing and commissioning of the transformer and recording the test result complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for on site centrifuging (dehydration) of old transformer oil at various locations of transformers of Capacity 200 KVA to 500 KVA installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms at Station filter action using automatic centrifuging (dehydration) machine to achieve min 40 KV breaking voltage (di-electric strength) at 2.5 mm gap for 2 minutes by absorbing and abolishing all sludge particles for use as per BS-B 66-1983 complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) All disconnection/re-connection of transformers HT/LT cables, T & P for required for above activity shall be arranged by contractor and quoted rates deemed to include for same. (b) Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.

Supply and fill new transformer oil ISI Marked (for topping up) confirming to IS-335 of 1993, low viscosity with dielectric strength 50 KV breaking voltage in 2.5mm gap for 2 minutes filled in transformer/OCB at various locations in Station, refixing of top cover and testing, complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge/JE(E/M) without any extra cost and recorded the same.)

Supply &Fill heavy duty Silica gel for breather (transparent type) suitable for transformer of 250KVA to 500KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed:-

M&L for Decarbonising / cleaning complete HT 11KV VCB 800 Amps at ICV sub stn including servicing of bus bar chamber, all electrical connections complete after removing the bus bar spout, cleaning with petrol and CRC 226 spray solution and ensure proper decarbonism, refixing the same complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (if) The various unsv items required to be replaced shall be paid separately under items.

M&L for replacement of fixed contact block complete suitable for 800 Amps, 11 KV HT VCBs all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces by scraping, removing, cleaning, of oil, grease painting of transformer externally and applying two coat of heat resistant synthetic enamel paint of colour as directed by spray painting including writing MES No and SM No on transformer body with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed for following capacities transformer:-

M&L for earthing in replacement of with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs below ground level connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, with fair finish internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire gauge mesh, 80 mm thick RCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and specified including provision of GI strip protected by 40 mm dia medium grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore medium grade, and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.
