solvent, zinc rich epoxy resin based Anticorrosive Treatment of

Corrosion Inhibitor: Providing & applying bipolar migrating corrosion
inhibition treatment to the overall concrete surface repair area including
area where reinforcement is exposed. The product shall be as per
specifications ,Item rate is inclusive of the materials, all labour,
supervision, tools and tackles and transportation etc., complete as per
specification and as direction of engineer in charge.
Powerthrow: Insertion of POWRTHROW, sustained release Corrosion
inhibiting caplets which protect both anodic & cathodic sites and reduces
Corrosion potential in the reinforcement steel, by drilling 25 mm dia holes
into the concrete at a depth of 60 mm and inserts to be filled by epoxy
mortar as per the manufacturing specifications and as per the direction
the Engineer-in-charge.
Galvanic Anode: Embeded Sacrificial galvanic Anode: Providing & fixing
Galvanic Sacrificial anodes in compliance with ASTM B 418-95a Type I in
RCC elements after tying them to the existing clean rebar with the specially
attached wires to it in a grid fashion to achieve corrosion potential more
negative than rebar. The sacrificial anode shall have zinc mass of upto 60
grams encased in conductive mortar. The anodes shall be soaked in water
for about 30 minutes before installation. Work to be executed complete as
per manufacturer specification and the project consultants.
