To provide temporary dewatering arrangements using portable 40 TPH capacity pumps at various strategic on-board locations during vessel undocking operations. The purpose is to quickly dewater any compartments in case of leakages.
Work Locations On-board: The contractor shall arrange the pumps at the following locations:
Engine Room, Stabilizer Room, PM (Propulsion Motor) Room, Steering Gear Room, Bow Thruster (BT) Room. etc.. Provide a 6 in numbers of 40 TPH capacity portable pumps (electrically operated) for each of the above locations.
Pump Accessories:
Provide suitable discharge hoses from each pump up to Main Deck overboard for discharge into the sea. Supply of power cables with sufficient length and suitable connectors. Supply and install ON/OFF switches at Main Deck level for operator control.
Pump Operation & Monitoring:
Qualified operators shall be available on-board at each pump location during the undocking operation for immediate action in case of water ingress.
Installation & Readiness:
All pump systems must be installed and tested prior to undocking. Ensure all hoses are securely routed and free from obstruction or tripping hazards. The pump arrangement should remain in place and manned from start of undocking operations until completion and confirmation of watertight integrity.
After successful undocking and clearance from the ship staff, pumps and associated accessories should be carefully removed.
