Selection of Independent Engineer for providing engineering consultancy services for Development and Mechanization of Existing East Quay 6 i.e. EQ 6 berth in the Inner Harbour at Visakhapatnam Port for handling of all types of cargoes on DBFOT basis

1. Review and approval of DPR for the entire project. 2. Review of Construction, Methodology, Quality assurance procedures, procurement, and engineering and construction time schedule submitted by the concessionaire. 3. Review of designs and drawings prepared by the Concessioanire connected to Civil works at Berth, Backup area and other utilities. 4. Review of designs and drawings prepared by the Concessioanire connected to Civil works at Stack yard, other project related utilities & structures. 5. Review and recommendation of the Operation and Maintenance plan prepared by the Concessionaire. 6. Verification of the Documents on Manufacture and delivery of the Material Handling Equipment as submitted by the Concessionaire. 7. Issue of provisional / completion certificate for the development of the subject project. 8. Vetting of as-made drawings by the Independent Engineer, Completion of work and issue of completion certificate by the Visakhpatnam Port Authority to the IE for the development of the subject project.
