Transportation (Fixed costs): The vehicles hired by the consultants shall include the cost for rental, drivers, operation, maintenance, repairs, insurance, etc

Office Set up (fixed cost): includes office building rent (min area 100 sqm), operation & maintenance, cleaning, repairs, Office furniture and equipments for typing and printing, Office stationery items, Utilities and communication, Drafting supplies, Computers and their running costs, Domestic communication.

Topographical survey & Investigation (Fixed rate): All investigation/surveys including Material survey and investigation, Sub-grade investigation/ studies shall be carried out at each Tunnel Location.

Schedule B (Item rate costs)

Sub soil Investigation & Other works: Vertical/Directional core drilling in all types of soils/rock as per ground condition shall be carried out at each Tunnel site to arrive at realisitic underground strata details at the proposed Tunnel sites. The rate includes construction of access roads to reach core drilling site, transportation of all plants, equipments, manpower, drilling accessories, erection on site for coring, core drilling and sampling, soil drilling testing and rock coring, trail pit, hand auguring, reinstatement of boreholes, etc. including grouting in zones of weakness and carrying out core logging and its laboratory testing, etc.

Vertical Boring in all types of soil strata (Including hard rock strata)

Directional/Longitudinal Boring in all types of soils strata not exceeding 100m length at each Tunnel location (including hard rock strata)

Geophysical Investigation

Conducting Seismic Refraction Tomography (SRT) Test at each Tunnel location inlcuding charges for equipment, manpower and interpretation of Test Data and submission of its reports complete in all respects.

Conducting Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) Test at each Tunnel location inlcuding charges for equipment,manpower etc and interpretation of Test Data and submission of its reports complete in all respects.

Cost of supply and fixing Boundary Pillars: Providing/Casting of RCC pillars in M-15 grade concrete and fixing on ground complete in all respects as per IRC 25: 1967. Consultant Shall fix Three Survey Bench Marks with its co-ordinates details at each Tunnel Portal Location.
