Disconnecting HT/LT electric connection of outdoor / indoor transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA and draining out oil from transformer and rectify minor repair inside and out side of the transformer like tightening LT or HT bushing, oil leakage from LT bushing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting electric connection HT / LT of outdoor / indoor transformer of capacity up to 630 KVA and lowering down / getting out from 2/4/6 pole structure / plinth or inside sub station to carry out major repairs including transporting the transformer to local workshop. Note : (i)Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of required crane & man power etc. for lifting of transformer from site and downloading at work shop & and lifting of transformer at work shop and downloading at site including placing the transformer at its original location. (ii) Transportation shall be paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Draining out complete transformer oil from transformer of up to 630 KVA capacity at site which found major repair and storing the oil in suitable container (container to be provided by the contractor to keep aside for re-use (after repair) and lifting of core assembly by opening of top cover and other items for inspection/examination and lowering / fixing of core assembly in its original position after inspection to make it ready for transportation to carry out for rewinding work in workshop Note : (i)Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of required crane & man power etc. for lifting of transformer from site and downloading at work shop & and lifting of transformer at work shop and downloading at site including placing the transformer at its original location. (ii) Transportation shall be paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Transportation of unserviceable transformer of up to 630 KVA capacity to workshop and return back for installation to place it on its original position / location after repairing/maint /rewinding from workshop. Note : (i) Rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power. (ii) Major items required for maint and winding work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item (iii) Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 25 days duration after taking from site. (iv) In case the defective / unserviceable transformer not repaired & installed on its site within the specified period of 25 days from the date of handing over to contractor a penel recovery @ Rs. 1000/- per day shall be levied.

Shifting of serviceable / unserviceable transformer of any capacity from one place to another place (indoor / outdoor) for repair / maint of existing transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The rate quoted is deemed to be included all transportation cost, earthing leads, lifting / lowering arrangement, labour etc for transformer of capacity up to 600 KVA.

M&L for opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts & washers etc and taking out core assembly from tank by disconnecting from tap changer HT & LT side bushing stud to outside by dismantling the channel and disconnecting star delta connection up to 630 KVA capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Removing the lamination in proper manner carefully for taking out serviceable / unserviceable HT/LT coils from the limbs of transformer up to 600 KVA capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L in repairs for rewinding of HT coils with copper wire / strip DPC / super enameled high quality matching with existing gauge and impedance including requisite insulating paper / material in each layer of winding after taking down old existing winding of HT coils complete all as specified and as directed. Note for srl item No 7 & 8: The rate quoted against these items is deemed to inclusive of necessary provision and cost of all types of insulating materials and heating / varnishing etc.

M& L for inserting of rewinded HT / LT new / old coils on limbs after cleaning of lamination in proper way and also after insulating the limbs with requisite insulating materials on limbs in between limbs / coils up to 630 KVA capacity transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for re-arranging the top lamination over coils in proper manner including fixing of channel soldering in between coils as necessary and brazing of star delta connection with tap changer up to 630 KVA capacity transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for breaking the core assembly in the oven duly varnishing the coil to improve IR value and to eliminate moisture content up to 630 KVA capacity transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for inserting the core assembly after baking in the tank (before inserting tank to be cleaned by removing all deposit sludge etc including drying) and making connection with HT / LT bushing studs and closing the tank top cover by fixing of suitable size of nut, bolts and washers Note :Top cover gasket shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply and fix in renewal of porcelain vitreous brown LT 1100V transformer bushing including brass studs conical bush and gasket suiatble for indoor/outdoor transformer of the capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.13 above herein before but of capacity 250 KVA to 630 KVA.

Supply and fix in renewal porcelain vitreous brown transformer bushing HT 11 KV including brass stud conical bush and gasket suitable for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.15 above but suitable for 250 KVA to 600 KVA.

S&F in renewal of silica gel breather assembly with vent pipe and new silica gel suiatble for indoor / outdoor transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.17 above hereinbefore but suitable for 250 KVA to 600 KVA transformer.

M&L for ON load centrifuging and dehydration including filtration and cleaning of transformer oil by dehydration machine electric operated without any shutdown of transformer including testing oil sample before and after dehydration and filtration oil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid for separately. Oil test report shall be submitted for before and after dehydration. (ii) Contractor have to arrange the dehydration machine and testing kit from his own resources without any extra cost . Contractor shall use mobile filtration plant with all accessories for different locations.

M& L for toping up of transformer oil in transformers, having die electric strength not less than 45 KV (at 2.5 mm gap) high voltage as per IS specification of low viscosity complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Power link / Power-oil / Savita Note : Dielectric strength test should be carried out by the contractor at site before pouring / filling in oil in transformers. The oil found with under specification shall not be accepted.

S & F Top cover gasket made up of 5 mm thick cork sheet complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for replacement of 90 degree lug boot for HT terminals on each phase for protection of the HT termainals from moisture/dust etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brass/GM gate valve (drain valve) of 25mm bore or suitable for 100 KVA to 600 KVA capacity transformer and provided necessary rubber packing to stop leakage after taking down old existing brass drain valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement silica gel for transformer breather complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of defective tap changer with tapping arrangement 2.5% & 7.5% on normal tapping complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner applying two coats of spray painting with synthetic enamel paint on outside with spraying machine to transformer indoor/outdoor/ fixed on poles or in Sub Station at different location after disconnecting of HT supply from incoming and LT supply from outgoing of capacity 100 KVA to 400 KVA and including writing letter in block English letter 100 mm size with white synthetic enamel paint details as given below :- (i) MAKE (ii) CAPCACTY (iii) SRL NO /SM No.______

All as per srl item No. 26 here-in-before but transformer 500 KVA to 630 KVA capacity

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of cables and getting out of excavated material complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Old serviceable PCC/RCC cable covers shall be taken out for relaying.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for river bed fine sand in trenches / ducts 15 cm under cable and 8 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable including spreading, leveling and get thick 18cm after hand punning complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Supply and lay factory made precast reinforced concrete cable covers Class HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm for HT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Relaying old retrieved precast reinforced concrete cable covers obtained vide item No. 28 above complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable HT cable of any size any type from trench/poles etc and keeping aside for segregation of serviceability complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix in replacement of HT 11 KV 3 core 120 Sqmm cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), heavy duty with aluminum conductor, 11000 volts (earthed) grade 95 Sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Excavation, earthwork, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable cover shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Relaying the serviceable HT 11 KV 3 core 95/120 sqmm of size cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Old serviceable cable obtained from item No.34 shall be used.

Supply, joint and testing indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV / underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 sqmm extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, joint and test outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV / underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, joint and test of cable joint kit of 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminum conductor cable of size 120 sqmm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, joint and test indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, joint and test outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, joint and test of cable joint kit of 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminum conductor cable of size 95 sqmm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for boring of holes / cutting under the road /pavement / hard standing or in any other situation with the help of manual labour (bocki) for crossing of U/G cable through it and making both the end good complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay galvanised steel water tubing, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings (IS marked) and laid in trenches / under roads / in drains / fixed to poles/walls ( with required size flat iron clamp bolts, nuts and washers ) pipes of the size 80 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed .

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of gang operated dropout switch air-break, triple pole off load switch with drop out fuse set insulator, mounted on channels outdoor, vertical mounting type HT 11 KV, 50 Hz of rating 400 Amps, ISI marked, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with adequate length of GI pipe 32 mm dia medium grade , and locking arrangements, complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having 30 amp rating suitable for including necessary electric connections, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mmx600mm x3.15mm thick, thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of copper strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to DB and protected by 50mm dia galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade and 20mm dia water pipe GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and 40mm thickRCC cover in 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded aggregates) all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete for DB and Industrial socket. Note : 1. Charcoal dust and common salt shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate. 2. Copper strip will be laid connected to test point through plinth protection necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item. Copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured and paid separately.On completion the earth resistance test to be carried out. If desired value of resistance not obtained, the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost.

Supply and fix cable route indicator for HT UG cable of 11000 Volts made out of RCC with 8mm iron bar of size 1000 mm x 600 x 10 mm, embedded in ground 30 cms below normal ground level in PCC 1 :2:4 block and duly painted red in colour all sides and written with "MES CABLE 11000 VOLTS , with black paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous, enameled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made of 25x3m MS flat, bolts and nuts for HT 11000 volts of size 25x20cm size complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for earth continuity conductor fixed to wall /floor/drawn in holes /conduits or any situation as directed of size 20x3 mm copper strips including porcelain insulators complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for tracing out HT cable fault through HT fault locator machine by HT expert and testing of HT cable through megger and repair the same complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) The cost of the earth work, equipment and person required for locating fault is inclussive in unit rate. (ii) Joint of cable shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item.

Supply, transporting to site, erecting and fixing in repairs in position, pre-stressed cement concrete poles, conforming to IS-1678 -1998, of sizes Poles 9 mtr long with minimum cross section 102mm X 152mm at top and 102mm X 289mm at bottom, class 10, including painting 03 nos band / strips with synthetic black and white enameled paint at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles and dismantling of old unserviceable concrete pole, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) including dismantling old PCC etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete in for coping of poles, roof kerbs or chamfered on edges railings up to 50cmx50cm x50cm in copings including formwork and dismantling old PCC complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar, complete in cement mortar 1:6 with type C1 1:3:6 using 20mm aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering cement plaster (1:4), 15 mm thick on brick work or concrete surface including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc and raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and as directed

Disconnecting and taking down security light fitting, brackets from poles of any height and shifting the fitting in other pole by using New brackets and connecting wire 1.5 Sqmm 3 core and reconnecting the same complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The rate of Nut, bolts required shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply, fixing and testing LT cable jointing kit straight through heat shrinkable type suitable for cable PVC /XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty aluminum conductor 1100V grade LT cable of size 3.5/4 core 35 to 50 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.
