Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Labour for collecting complaints in writting pertaining to external water supply system from concern JE at AGE Charduar office for various areas under AGE Charduar in writting during the hours as fixed by the Engr-in-Charge and detecting faults in distribution system/delivary or rising main system of any size or bore/dia and any type/size of pipes laid in trenches/with wall/on floor/ to overhead tanks of any capacity/size at any height in any area under AGE Charduar and rectify the fault to restore the water supply services in all respect and upto entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and depositing the complaint slip to concern JE on same day duly singned by the concern user/complainant and comprising of the followings:- (a) Person collecting the complaints/deputed by the contractor shall have sound knowledge of repairing/maintenance of CI/DI/PPR pipes and he will visit the site to assess the actual requirement/nature of fault in water supply system and also shall repair minor repairs to PP-R pipelines/CI/DI/GI pipe lines of any dia sponteneously. (b) If any complaint left unattended by the the contractor ,penalty @ Rs 1000/- per complaint per day be imposed on contractor. (c) Contractor shall be resposible to communicate the concern JE/AGE E/M regarding any major breakdown/fault within 30 minutes if the problem is of specific nature. (d) Contractor shall be resposible for providing suitable transport to person deputed by him and shall be bound to reach at site within 30 minutes after receiving of complaint. (e) Necessary T&P required to repairs all defects/faults shall be provided by the contractor and cost shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (f) Requirement of specific spares/stores such as CI/DI/PPR pipes and their respective fittings, sluice/gate and spares of water supply plants/equipments,excavation/earth work if required will be given by the contractor well in advance to Engr-in-charge/JE E/M.

Opening of PVC strainers (nozzels) from pressure filters bed cleaning all PVC strainers throughly and removing all deposits and refixing of serviceable strainers complete all as specified and as directed.

Painting to external surfaces of iron removal chamber and oxidation chamber including pipes and valves of any size/dia complete of filtration plant with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour including necessary preparation of surfaces after scrapping of old deteriorated paint, brushing, cleaning etc. all as specified and directed.

Draining out water from sedimentation tank, filter bed, filtered water tank after opening sluice valves, plugs etc and cleaning the walls / bottom surface with the help of wire brushes and other cleaning device to remove silt and cleaning with water for making ready to paint including channel etc of capacity 20000 Gallon per day complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out filter media carefully from rapid sand gravity filter bed and depositing at a distance not less 50 mtr where directed, cleaning and removing silt deposited on the vessels of filter media to a distance and making ready all the surfaces to paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of approved quality bituminous paint lead free suitable for potable water to internal surfaces of the sedimentation tank of capacity 20000 Gallons, filter bed & filtered water tank including all nozzles, pipes etc with anti corrosive bituminous paint inside the gravity filter all as specified and directed.Note: Work shall be carried out in various locations such as charduar,sonaipam,Amaribari, Harchura &Thakurbari under AGE Charduar.

Dismantling /taking out of nozzles made out of 80mm/100 mm dia GI tubing by unscrewing thread/cutting etc from filter bed and sedimentation tanks and kept aside for re-use complete all as specified.

Re-fixing serviceable GI Nozzles (lateral and header pipe) made out of 80mm/100 mm dia as dismantled item No-28 here-in-before with welding in proper position after cleaning /desilting and painting the same properly including black bituminous paint lead free complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost of necessary welding if required at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and fix GI Nozzles in filter bed made out of 80mm dia GI pipe of length 1.1 Mtr each one end threaded and making requisite nos of holes as per exisitng and fixing with lateral pipe of size 150 mm in filter bed complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Cost of necessary welding if required at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and fix GI nozzles made out of 100 mm GI pipe of length 0.6 Mtr each in sedimentation tank complete with provision of cap on top (as per existing) and fixing with 150 mm GI pipe (lateral and Header pipe) and painting the same properly with black bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost of necessary welding if required at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Dismantling and taking out old (lateral and header) GI pipe of size 150mm dia incl fittings from filter bed/sedimentation tank for cleaning or removing to store complete all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing (lateral and header pipe) GI tubing & fitting 150mm bore as dismantelled against item here-in-before after cleaning/ de-scaling properly and painting the same with black bituminous paint complete all specified and directed.

S&F GI tubing medium grade 150 mm dia as lateral and header pipe complete with heavy duty fittings as per existing/as required at site and painting the same with black bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of GI pipe 100mm dia connection from the pressure filter plant of capacity 10000 GPH, opening the cover plate of filter chamber by unscewing/unbolting it and removal of filter media, depositing the same to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and refilling gravel grade wise to the bed of filtration plant after washing/cleaning complete re-fixing the pipes to its original position after replacement of gasket of cover plate including necessary nut bolts as required complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for cleaning the aeration tower including scrapping , scrubbing the deposited silt and washing properly including painting with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer of approx size 2mtr hight having 3 stages all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning the PS over head tank 9600 glns capacity located at different places at Charduar area by emptying the reservoirs, and removing the scale and other foreign materials deposited on side wall and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, applying one coat of bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing and cleaning the tank with fresh water including applying two coats of black bituminous paint lead free suitable for drinking water grade including necessary surfaces preparation by means of scraping brushing cleaning on internal surface of tank, removal of waste. The details of tanks like date of cleaning, capacity of tanks etc shall be written on the out side of the tank with synthetic enamel white paint on black back ground with letter size 20cm and black background of size 100x60cm all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing existing chemical dosing pump simple diaphragm type coupled with 0.5 HP 440 Volts AC 1440 RPM motors complete with 100 ltrs capacity and making dosing pump , strainer and siphon valve and pressure filter valve etc functional Model CHEMINJECT RM 13 cap 100 ltrs per hours complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates for PVC wire wooven (re-inforced) heavy duty flexible pipe from chemical dozing pump to venturi, along with ferrul and non return valve, repair to pump and motor etc is deemed to be inclcuded in the quoted rates.

M&L for dismantling and taking down old corroded angle iron bracing etc inside the PS OH capacity 9600 Gallon 40' staging tank/areation tower by dismantling the welding joints from gusset plate and dismantling and taking down gusset plate by removing of nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for replacement of angle iron bracing of size and thickness as per existing (50x50x6)mm inside the OH tank/clear water tank/ areation tower including making necessary arrangement for holding of surrounding plates and bracing,cutting of gusset plates to required size and shape & angle for jointing with bracings by drilling holes welding of web piece with gusset plate where ever required after making proper shape etc complete at the height of 40 feet all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling and taking down old corrogated/MS plain sheet top cover of any thickness from the top of pressed steel OH tanks/ clear water sump by unscrewing nuts & bolts and washers of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for fixing MS plain sheet of existing size 3.0mm thick suitable size cut to proper shape for top cover including necessary fabrication & welding and including nut and bolts and washers of suitable size complete at PS OH tank and clear water tank all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old corroded PS plate of size 1.22m x 1.22m x 6 mm thick from the pressed steel over head tank by un-screwing nuts & bolts or cutting joints and removing of nuts & bolts etc including jointing material complete at the height of 50 feet all as specified and directed.

S & F factory made pressed steel plates of size 1.22m x 1.22m x 6 mm thick fixing with suitable size nuts and washer including all jointing material such as lead wool, gasket, non toxic black putty washer etc complete at the height of 50 feet all as specified and directed.

Fixing in repair old pressed steel plates of size 1.22Mx1.22Mx6mm thick with suitable size new nuts & bolts washer including all jointing materials such as lead wool, lead wire, gasket, non toxic black putty wahser etc complete at the height of 50 feet all as directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for screed bed or bedding of layer of uniform mortar 15mm thick for laying floor/wall finishes in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour non skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqmm but not exceeding 0.11 sqmm in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement match all as specified and directed

Material and labour two coat of cement base paint (snowchem) on external walls to sedimentation tanks complete including preparation of surface Washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfacesh complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 , (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in coping of valve pit etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) 75 mm thick as in plinth protection of sedimentation tank etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work in cement mortar 1:4 with sub class `B' bricks straight ro curved on plan exc 6m mean radius complete all as specified.

M&L for rendering in cement mortar (1:4) 15mm thick on fair faces of bricks works or concrete surface finished even & smooth using exits cement complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE:- The all above work shall be carried out in various locations such as Thakurbari,Amaribari,Phulbari,Harchura,Sonaipam and Charduar area under AGE Charduar.

M&L for repairs/rectification of leakage in UG cast iron /Galvanised iron pipe by means of caulking lead wool/ pig lead or tightning of GI fittings complete including excavation and earth work for exposing the joints and working space on the site, returning,filling in and making good to the existing earth level of the surroundings after repair for the following sizes of pipes all as specified. Cost of lead wool/pig lead if required is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply only pig wool for rectification of leakage of joints of CI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only gland packing 6 to 10 mm dia suitable for sluice valve 80 to 150 mm dia connecting and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only rubber packing 3 mm thick heavy duty suitable for flang joints etc connecting and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying pipes/cable and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in and including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/ losse soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance exceeding 50 metre but not exceeding 50 m and dipositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point in soft / loose soil all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement gun metal gate valves with iron wheel head screwed both ends for GI pipe all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-
