REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMER, GODs AND HT SWITCHGEARS AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN NALIYA

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of cables and getting out of excavated material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Old serviceable PCC/RCC cable covers will be taken out for relaying and paid under separate items.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where, directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for river bed fine sand in trenches/ ducts 15 cm under cable and 8 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable including spreading, leveling and get thick 18cm after hand punning complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: Punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and laying in repair factory made precast unreinforced concrete cable covers Class HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm for HT cable all as specified.

Relaying old retrieved precast concrete cable covers vide item above Class HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm for HT cable all as specified.

Taking out old unserviceable HT/LT cable of any size any type from trench/poles etc and keeping aside for segregation of serviceability. Serviceable cable will be re-laid at same place or other place as required complete as directed.

S & F HT 11 KV 3 core 95 Sqmm cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), heavy duty with aluminum conductor, all as specified and directed by EIC. Note: Excavation, earthwork, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable cover will be measured and paid separately if required

Relaying the serviceable HT 11 KV 3 core 95/120 sqmm of size cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), all as specified and directed by EIC. Note: Excavation, earth work, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable cover will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV / underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 240 sqmm textra terminal length as required on ground complete all as directed.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV / underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as directed.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 240 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 to 185 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair of cable joint kit of 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminum conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm, complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair of cable joint kit of 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminum conductor cable of size 95 sqmm, complete all as specified.

Supply and laying in repair galvanized steel water tubing, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings (IS marked) and laid in trenches / under roads / in drains / fixed to poles/walls (with required size flat iron clamp bolts, nuts and washers) pipes of the size 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of gang operated dropout switch air-break, triple pole off load switch with drop out fuse set insulator, mounted on channels outdoor, vertical mounting type breakers HT 11 KV, 50 Hz of rating 200 Amps, ISI marked, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with adequate length of GI pipe 32 mm dia medium grade, and locking arrangements, complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having 30 Amp rating suitable for including necessary electric connections complete all as specified.

M & L for servicing, oiling, greasing of gang operated dropout switch air-break, triple pole off load switch with drop out fuse set insulator, mounted on channels outdoor, vertical mounting type breakers HT 11 KV, 50 Hz of rating 400 Amps, ISI marked, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with adequate length of GI pipe 32 mm dia medium grade, and locking arrangements, complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having 30 Amp rating suitable for including necessary electric connections complete all as specified.

M & L for ON load centrifuging and dehydration including filteration and cleaning of transformer oil by dehydration machine electric operated without any shutdown of transformer including testing oil sample before and after dehydration and filteration oil as specified and directed. Note: (i) Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid for separately. Oil test report shall be submitted for before and after dehydration to Engr-in-charge. (ii) Contractor have to arrange the dehydration machine and testing kit from his own resources without any extra cost. Contractor shall use mobile filteration plant with alll accessories for different locations.

M & L for toping up of transformer oil in transformers, having die electric strength not less than 45 KV (at 2.5 mm gap) high voltage as per IS specification of low viscosity. Make: Powerlink/Power-oil /Savita. Note: Dielectric strength test should be carried out by the contractor at site before pouring/filling in oil in transformers. The oil found with under specification will not be accepted.

M & L for rewinding of HT coils with copper wire DPC/super enameled high quality matching with existing gauge and impedence including requisite insulating paper/material in each layer of winding after taking down old existing winding of HT coils complete. Note: The rate quoted against these items is inclusive necessary provision and cost of all types of insulating materials and heating/ varnishing etc.

Disconnecting HT/LT electric connection of Outdoor/indoor transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA by opening of top cover and draining out oil from transformer upto bushing level and rectify minor repair inside or outside of the transformer like tightening LT or HT bushing, oil leakage from LT bushing etc at site. Note: Rate is deemed to be inclusive of crane for lifting and man power etc. Transportation shall be paid under separate item.

Draining out complete oil from transformer of capacity up to 1000 KVA at site which found major repair and storage the oil in suitable dry container and lifting of core assembly by opening of top cover and other items for inspection and lowering/fixing of core assembly in its original position after inspection to make it ready for transportation to carry out rewinding work in workshop. Note: (i) Rate is deemed to be inclusive of crane and man power for lifting (ii) container to be provided by the contractor to keep aside for re-use. (iii) Transportation shall be paid under separate item.

Transportation of unserviceable transformer of upto 1000 KVA capacity to workshop and return back for installation on its original position/location after repairing/maint./rewinding from workshop. Note: (i) Rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power. (ii) Major items required for maint and winding work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item (iii) Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 25 days duration. (iv) In case the defective/ unserviceable transformer not repaired & installed on its site within the specified period of 25 days from the date of handing over to contractor; a panel recovery @ Rs.1000/- per day will be charged from his dues for the delay.

M & L for Removing the lamination in proper manner carefully for taking out serviceable/ unserviceable HT/LT coils from the limbs of transformer upto 1000 KVA capacity.

M & L for inserting of HT/LT coils on limbs rewinded here in before/old after cleaning of lamination in proper way and also after insulating the limbs with requisite insulating materials on limbs in between limbs/coils upto 750 KVA capacity transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for baking the core assembly in the over duly varnishing the coil to improve IR value and to eliminate moisture content upto 600 KVA capacity transformer complete.

M & L for inserting the core assembly after baking in the tank (before inserting tank to be cleaned by removing all deposit sludge etc including drying) and making connection with HT/LT bushing studs and closing the tank top cover by fixing of suitable size of nut, bolts and washers. (Top cover gasket will be measured and paid separately).

S & F in repairs porcelain transformer bushing on HT 11 KV including brass studs conical bush and gasket for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

S & F in repairs porcelain transformer bushing on LT 1100 V including brass studs conical bush and gasket for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

S & F in renewal of silica gel breather assembly with vent pipe and new silica gel suiatble for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 1000 KVA.

S & F in repair Top cover gasket made up of 5 mm thick cork sheet complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M & L in repair for replacement of 90 degree lug boot for HT terminals on each phase for protection of the HT terminals from moisture/dust etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in replacement silica gel for transformer complete all as directed.

S & F in replacement of defective tap changer with tapping arrangement 2.5% & 7.5% on normal tapping complete for transformer of capacity up to 750 KVA.

Shifting of serviceable/unserviceable transformer of any capacity from one place to another place (indoor/outdoor) for repair/maint of existing transformer. Note: The rate quoted is deemed to be included all as transportation cost, earthing leads lifting/lowering arrangement, labour etc for transformer of capacity up to 630 KVA.

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on outside with spraying machine to transformer indoor/outdoor/ fixed on. poles or in Sub Station at different location after disconnecting of HT supply from incoming and LT supply from outgoing of capacity 100 KVA to 750 KVA and including writing letter in block English letter 100 mm size with white synthetic enamel paint details as given below:- (i) MAKE (ii) CAPACITY (iii) SRL NO /SM No. _____

M & L for in repair brass/GM gate valve (drain valve) of 25mm bore or suitable for 100 KVA to 630 KVA capacity transformer and provided necessary rubber packing to stop leakage after taking down old existing brass drain valve complete.

M & L for maintenance servicing, cleaning of HT busbar system of capacity upto 1000 Amps installed at MAFI-I, MAFI-II & various sub stations of HT distribution system. Opening HT panels/ breakers inclosures after taking proper shutdown, unbolting all busbars from insulators/supporters & cleaning/scrapping deposited salt/oxide layers with help of CRC 2-26 spray, WD-40, emary paper, cotton rugs, alcohol/sprit. etc. Refining straight lengths, supply elements, turning elements, T-connectors & all HT components/switchgears after applyig silica gel on movable/unmovable parts before closing HT compartments. Finally testing HT supply for sub-station complete all as specified. Note: Contractor will ensure that maintenance to be carried by skilled electricians. All necessary T&P, material/spares, safety equipments to be provided by contractor & cost deemed to be inclusive in quoted rates. Contractor will be responsible for any kind of breakage/damage to existing system due to mishandling/poor workmanship and will replace parts without any extra cost.

S&F in repair pressure die cast aluminium LED flood light of 300 watt, IP 65 protection, lumen output 110 lumens per watt, luminary efficiency >90% fitting (for minimizing humidity/vapour content upon HT switchgeras/panel installed inside MRSAM sub-station buildings. Lights connected to CRCA MS sheet inclosure for on/off operation consisting necessary electric wiring connected with timer, MCB SPN upto 40 Amps & SP 10 Amps etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair relay Model no. SR18G Make L&T suitable for 1000Amp ACB (Model No. CN-CS 1000S1), 415 Volt , 50/60 Hz, Icu: 50 kA, Ics:100%, Icw : 50 kA for 1 sec including all necessary connections, testing as specified and directed.

M & L for tracing out HT cable fault through HT fault locator machine by HT expert and testing of HT cable through megger and repair the same. Note:- The cost of the earth work, equipment and person required for locating fault is inclusive in unit rate (ii) Joint of cable will be measured separately under relevant item.

Supply, transporting to site, erecting and fixing in repairs in position, pre-stressed cement concrete poles, conforming to IS-1678 -1998, of sizes Poles 9 mtr long with minimum cross section 102mm X 152mm at top and 102mm X 289mm at bottom, class 10, including painting 03 nos band / strips with synthetic black and white enameled paint at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles and dismantling of old unserviceable concrete pole, complete all as specified.

M & L for cement concrete in base foundation, filling and mass concrete type D2 1:4:8 with 40mm graded stone aggregate & form work including dismantling old PCC etc.

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass of poles or chamfered on edges railings up to with PCC type C2 1:3:6 with 40mm graded stone aggregate including dismantling old PCC etc.

M & L for cement concrete in for coping of poles, roof kerbs or chamfered on edges railings up to 50cmx50cnn x50cm in copings with PCC type Bl 1:2:4 with 20mm graded stone aggregate including dismantling old PCC etc.

M & L for platform of size 1200cmx60cmx45cm for the panel with PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate. The platform shall be such that height 30cm above the ground and 15cm below ground level.

M & L for repair/maintenance for HT/LT panel of E/M sub-stations by taking out HT/LT UG cables, removing burned out parts, fixing suitable size of lugs, securing ends by insulation tape and fixing back HT/LT cable in correct phase sequence inside panel, replacement of turned cut terminals, placing insulation sheets between cables terminals, fixing cable glads of suitable size for inserting cables, checking all loose connections for cables & circuit for Amp/ Volt meter & replacing circuit wires if required, welding work for weld the hinges of panel door, MS sheet 3mm thick including 02 Nos hinges and piece of 3mm thick sheet not more that 0.25 Sqm area of sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of HT busbar panel of approx size by thoroughly cleaning the surfaces to remove dirt, stain, rust flakes and paint flakes parts with wire brush emery paper/ thinner damp cloth or as directed. Priming the surface with anti corrosive primers using suitable sprayers by applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on outside to HT panel indoor/outdoor after disconnecting of HT supply for incoming/outgoing cables. Applying automotive paint using sprayers till glossy finish is obtained complete all as directed.

Supplying and laying in repair synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1 m.

M & L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mmx600mm x3.15mm thick, thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of copper strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to DB and protected by 50mm dia galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade and 20mm dia water pipe GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete for DB and Industrial socket. Note: (i) Charcoal dust and common salt shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate. (ii) Copper strip will be connected to test point through plinth protection, necessary repair cost to plinth protection, brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item rate. cooper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule. Resistance test to be carried out. If desired value of resistance not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by ht contractor at no extra cost.

M & L for in repair Platform of size 2mtrx2mtrx2mtr for the transformer with PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including block massonary work and plaster work. The platform shall be such that height 1.5mtr above the ground and 0.5mtr below ground level.

M & L for spreading and levelling in a layer n exc 25 cm thick boulders/scrubs etc for filling aggregate and replacing broken brick boundary for electrical substation pavements, two/four pole structures and transformer pads to create safe, non-conductive insulation layer. Loose filling with broken stone aggregates of gauge size not more than 50 mm and min 10 cm thickness from ground level all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair/connections of Auto tap changer for dry type transformer of capacity 150 KVA after taking proper HT/LT shutdowns Job work will comprise of detail checks of all components of ON Load Gear panel connected with Auto Tap Changer having motor working on 415 V, 50 Hz, control voltage110 V/50 Hz, 17 Nos of service tapping position. Connection of RTCC panel to Auto Changeover of Transformer will be sequentially connected by multicore FR PVC Cable 1100 V, 19 x 1.5 sq mm copper conductor. Performing test for controlled movement of tap positions, checking for acceptable voltage in all LT three phases by repeating ON/OFF test two time and refixing the all parts in its original position including testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Contractor will make all necessary arrangement of T&P for opening out the transformer / RTCC panel, repair work to be carried out by skilled authorised person. Any defects and replacement of defective parts as per existing make & model costing up to 750/- will be done by contractor at no extra cost.

M & L for repair/connections of Auto tap changer for dry type transformer of capacity 630/750 KVA after taking proper HT/LT shutdowns.
