CONSTRUCTION OF INTERNAL TRACK LAKKI NALA SUP AND CONSTR AT LAKKI NALA KACHCHH GUJARAT

Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a dist n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Retrive earth from surface excavation will be used for Berm filling which is free from roots,vegitation , stone boulder more than 150mm size include spreading,leveling,watering and surplus soil removed from working site up to a distance n.exc 50m which include spreading and leveling)

M&L for rolling and consolidation of formation surface incl watering with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller consolidatin to the required level gradient, camber etc in cutting/filling in and depression complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:-It include rolling of Berm after back filling to maintain in desire level, gradient and camber up to achive 95% compaction for dry density)

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n.exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including spreading,leveling , watering and rolling and compaction up to achive 95% for dry density complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for laying and compacting 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) (in two layers of 75mm each) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning clear surface with gunny bags and applying priming/tack coat with bituminous Emulsion (VG-30) at 7.5kg/10 sqm using paving bitumen complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge/ Officer Commanding.

M&L for Premix Dense bituminous macadam 75mm thick (Consolidated) using 4.5% paving bitumen of any penetration laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge/ Officer Commanding.

M&L for cleaning the bituminous maxadam surfaces & applying tack coat @ 2.5Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen and finally laying bituminous premix Dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight by total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using Hot mix plant and mechanical paver and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller, using paving bitumen (VG-30) complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge/ Officer Commanding.

M&L Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
