RESTORATION REPLACEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE REDEVELOPMENT OF BORE WELL AND ALLIED WORKS AT MIL STN BHUJ

M&L for carrying out soil investigantion by aungur boring/rotary drilling method to carry out bore hole of 150mm dia in any type of soil/rock, and making trail pit size of 1.2m X 1.2m at 5m away from the bore hole, location water table , conducting standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS specification at 1.00m interval/at every change in strata inclunding conducting following laboratoy tests as spcified in the IS of collected sample and prepration and submission of six set of report for the 15mtr depth :- (i Index properties of soil such as a grian size distribution moistur content density, plasticity charactristics. (ii) Direct shear test/unconfined compression trixial test to obtain the valve of cohesion and angle of intermal friction. (iii ) Scope of investigation, exploration technique soil profile, bore logh etc.(iv) Recommended SBC at different depth of foundation (1.5m,2.0m and 2.5m) and different size of foundations are :- (a) 1.50X1.50m (b) 1.50X2.50m (c) 2.00 X2.50m (d ) 2.00X 3.00m (e) for raft foundation (v) SBC and its calculation based in 'N' value , Shear strength and settlement criteria. (vi) Ground water table (vii) Expansive or problematic soil and its properties if any (viii) Recommendation of type foundation for differrent structure inclunding building for/double and multi storied construction. (ix) Chemicl analysis of soil, if requied including recommendation and type of cement to be used for filling under flooors and filling under protection including plinth.(x) Recommendation for filling under floors and filling under protenction including pilnth protection.(xi) RL of the ground level/fondation level w.r.t bench mark, (xii) Nature of each stratum and engineering properties of soil and rock which may effect design and mode of construction of proposed strucure and their fondation.(xiii) Recommended SBC for all bore holes. (xiv) Photography record of testing. (xv) Recommendation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil. (xvi) Swelling pressure and swelling index in respect of BC soli and its depth/layer. (xvii) location of GWT peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest ) period. (xvii) Possible corrosive effects of soil and water on foundation material. (xviii) Any other recommendation.

Site clearance inclunding cutting of bushes/shrubs , etc of any type inclunding removel outsite from site for making the area accesible and enabling of soli investigataion and contour survey work.
